Anamika’s one–time presence was all the coffee shop and its sister business needed to make the place jam packed with customers in the following days until it became one of the best coffee shops in Rose City. After all, their coffee was unique to begin with.

While Anamika was lost in her own world, she didn’t notice the guy wearing a black face cap that was sitting a few tables away from hers. He looked quite suspicious but no one thought he was there for Anamika.

Anamika was quietly drinking her coffee and thinking about the next step to take when her phone beeped. She looked at the message and saw it was from her Assistant, Ryan.

[ Boss, the meeting with Lisa Quinn is in thirty minutes. ]

Anamika brushed her hair backwards and downed her remaining coffee at once. The thought of someone fighting over Asher with her was driving her crazy. But just like Emma said, she has to make the right decision that would be best for herself and her kids.
