Nadia saving her Papa

With Asher’s claws gripping Lucia’s jugular veins tightly and cutting off his intake of air, nobody told the lunatic to wave his hands in the air, an indication to tell his people to let the child go.

“Put her down and throw your guns away!” Asher thundered.

The guards immediately did as told and raised their empty hands in the air.

Nadia sat on the floor and started gasping for air.

After a few seconds, Asher asked the child. “Are you ok?”

“Ye–ye–yes, Papa.”

Asher glanced at her and communicated with his eyes for her to run upstairs. Nadia nodded and stood up before running with her tiny legs to the stairs.

None of the guards saw what just happened between the father and daughter. They were all worried that Asher might kill their boss. When they saw Nadia heading up stairs, one of them was about to chase after her when Asher increased his hold on Lucia’s neck.

“Ah, Aaah!” Lucian started making incoherent noises while throwing his hands around for help.
