The Scorned Heiress' Revenge
"Saffron, I asked you a question. What happened to your dress?" Atlas asked again like he cared.
Why was he calling her name like they were pals? How did he even know her name? This was the first time in seven years that they talked. Atlas isn't one to care about mere workers in the mansion, let alone commit their names to memory. So why her?
Ignoring Atlas was not an option, so she parted her lips. "I–" Saffron was about to lie her way through when she caught sight of Caspian walking over.
"Talk to me! Did Caspian do this to you?!" Atlas frowned and grabbed her jaw, forcing her to look his way.
"How did–" so this was it? Atlas orchestrated last night's incident? He set her up! Now Caspian would think she was involved with Atlas! There's no way for her to prove her innocence anymore...
"Ahh!" Saffron cried out loud and moved back with her rear hitting the wall. She slid down slowly until she was sitting on the floor, bawling her eyes out. "I'm just an insignificant Chef who is only here to work, please I beg you, let me live… waaah… I want to live…!" She continued crying as she lamented sorrowfully like she was already having her last minute of life.
Caspian walked past without acknowledging any of them with a mere glance. After he ambled out of the corridor, Atlas moved away and glared condescendingly at Saffron, "Don't think too highly of yourself. You've served your purpose. You were a mere pawn."
...
Saffron, a Chef who wanted nothing but a simple life, ended up becoming a pawn in a life and death's game for three brothers. However, time will tell if she's a pawn, or the Queen on the chess board.

Chapter: Make up in bed. Warning: R18 chapter. As the water touched his tanned skin, his tensed muscles slowly relaxed and he slowly closed his eyes to bask in the pleasure, in spite of the discomfort from his rod and the lust his mind was nursing. All of a sudden, he felt her butt pressed against his rod as she bent over to wash her legs. She bolted up and apologized, “Sorry, it was unintentional.”Hell, it couldn’t be any more intentional! Caspian swallowed, “I– it’s fine,” he said it was fine but his rod was throbbing and his heart was beating erratically. Seeing she was looking at his erection, Caspian made an attempt to cover it but it was for nought. Lily shifted her gaze away but blushing cheeks and tried to speak but decided against it and flattened her lips. “You can stay in front,” she moved away to create space. “And you?... What about I just leave?”“You’re wet already... I might also use your help to scrub my back.” Caspian opened his mouth to speak, but changed his mind and nodded instead

Chapter: Taking a bathe “They were in love?” “So it seemed.” “And your parents?” Lily queried. “I made my father resign and sent him and my mother to our ancestral home. They won’t return until I’ve dealt with Sebastian.” “What do you intend to do to him?”“He doesn’t deserve a jail sentence.”“Why? He’s still your brother after all.”“He aided Celina to kill you. He attempted to take my life several times… I could have forgiven him and just handed evidence of his wrong doings to the court, but he went as far as to produce a virus which turns humans into hybrids.” Lily froze and her mind jolted back to Madam Evelyn’s son’s condition… Was that it? As if he read her mind, Caspian further said, “The man you were almost forced to marry was a victim of Sebastian’s virus.” “What happened to him?”“I took him to my facility. The antidote is almost complete.”Soon enough, they arrived at a small town. They breathed a sigh of relief and went in search of a means of communication. Not long, they found a phone

Chapter: Misunderstanding resolved“No.”“Why? You have no sympathy for traitors.” “Because you’d be sad if I killed her.”Lily turned her head, meeting his gaze. “But I was dead.”“I never believed you died.”“Why? I could have burned to ashes in that flame.”“No body was found.”“But the news said otherwise.”“I made everyone believe so. I needed to fetch out everyone who was involved… and I did.”“But you didn’t hurt Celina.”He stretched his hand and brushed off the strand of hair from her face while saying, “You wouldn’t know.”“If you tell me, I would know.” Caspian gazed at her face for a long time before he pulled away and got up. “We should hurry along. I can spot light coming from up there.” He pointed to his right. Lily looked in the direction and indeed, there was a glow. She got up and the two resumed their walk. “After I found out, I didn’t kill her not because I couldn’t, but because she once saved my life. However, I couldn’t let her go scot-free, so I took power from her father.” “But she’s still

Chapter: Opening up Meanwhile, almost an hour later, at the bank of the river, far from where the accident happened, Caspian was performing resuscitation on Lily who didn’t look like she’d be waking up any time soon. “Saffron!” he yelled in panic and went back to applying pressure on her chest. “Please, don’t leave me again, I beg you. Wake up! I can’t continue living without you!” He pressed and pressed, still nothing but he didn’t give up. His eyes had turned red from crying. Caspian was almost going crazy as he pleaded with her to wake up. After countless struggles, she suddenly coughed out water.“Saffron?” He watched her slowly open her eyes before he hugged her with so much force that he almost squashed her. Not until she powerlessly patted his back did he let go. He wiped his tears, “Thank you for coming back to me. I’m glad you didn’t leave me again.” Without warning, he sealed her lips and kissed her desperately for a long time before he pulled away. Lily was conflicted. Did he truly love h

Chapter: Smell of death At the parking lot... Lily strode to her black car. Before entering, she turned to the guards following her and ordered, “I want to be left alone. Watch over my grandfather. Tell him I won’t come home tonight.” The guards didn’t want to obey but after thinking it through, they nodded and stepped aside. Lily got into the car and fastened her seat belt. Just as she was about to start the car, she saw Caspian standing in front of her car. She looked through the window, Caspian’s guards and hers were in a standoff. At this point, she knew he won’t let her drive off if he didn’t get the audience he wanted, so she unlocked the door. When he entered the front passenger seat, Lily queried, “What are you doing?” Clearly she was displeased. “We need to talk.”“Schedule a meeting with the company. I don’t entertain– ““No, Saffron, this is not about business. Five years ago– ““It seem you won’t give up harassing me. Get down from my car, otherwise I’ll press charges for harassment.”“I’ve

Chapter: The surprise Time was slowly ticking away and soon enough, some free spirits were already on the dance floor. Lily finally put on her beautiful mask, thinking to find herself a serene place to sit, away from the rowdy crowd. All of a sudden, someone crept up on her and his calm voice made her freeze.“Ms. Rothschild, can I have this dance?” Caspian…What the hell is he doing here? She didn’t invite him... Unless... Her mind snapped. It was her grandfather. So this was what he was talking about? She looked around the place for her grandfather and saw him drinking an laughing with his friends. Maybe he felt her gaze on him, he looked her way and beamed at her with his wine glass raised. “Cunning old man,” she mumbled under her breath. Caspian was already here. It would be unwise to ignore him. She slowly focused her mind. His hand was outstretched. She trailed her gaze up to his black mask and back to his hand. Chapter: Falling in love As she was about to step out of her dress and hug Greg again, he gave her a once over and smirked, “There is nothing to be desired. Your body does not impress me.” A woman's body is her pride. Commenting negatively about her body could cause her mental and emotional breakdown. This, Greg knew too well, but still did it. He turned and began to put on his clothes. He believed that after disrespecting her, she would respect herself and leave like he wanted. He didn't intend to hurt her, but he had no choice. Sonia froze. Her face paled and her heart shattered into million pieces. The stabbing pain in her heart was unbearable, like a dagger twisting deep within her. She felt humiliated, rejected, and utterly devastated. Her eyes widened in disbelief, and her mind raced with shock and anger. She couldn't move, couldn't speak, couldn't breathe. Chapter: Confession Sonia’s heart froze with fright when Greg turned around. Her mind jolted to the threat he made the last time she barged into his room like this. “Sonia, consider this your last warning. If you ever burst in on me like this again and catch me off guard, there’ll be consequences.” Sonia snapped out of it and took a step back in shock and dread. Standing in the room was Greg in his full glory, holding a white towel as he stared back at Sonia with darkening eyes. Behind Sonia was Meera whom nobody knew when she arrived. Meera’s eyes bulged at the sight of naked Greg. The size of his length choked her. She suddenly felt her heartbreat increasing tremendously. Her cheeks burned scarlet and her lower region tingled with excitement. She raised her gaze to stare at his face. Her eyes betraying her heartbreak. She didn't want to think that Greg lied about not having a woman, but if not, how could he show Sonia his nakedness so brazenly. Was she not present, wouldn't he have laid with her?

Chapter: Opening a can of worm. “Greg!” Meera heard a female voice calling out to Greg as she approached the room she was in. Greg had excused himself after bringing her to his bedroom in order to get ready for the ball. “Greg, I'm here– “The door suddenly swung open and Sonia stepped in, only to be shocked at the sight of a gorgeous woman she didn't recognize. Her brows furrowed at the sight of the stranger in Greg's bedroom and couldn't help but ask, feeling annoyed. “Who are you and what are you doing here?” Meera’s brows knitted slightly. Who is she? Why would she barge into a man's room without knocking?“Has the cat got your tongue?... Who the hell are you?!” Sonia's mind reeled with a sense of crisis as her mind conjured few ideas. The stranger in front of her looked ravishing in her red mermaid dress that outlined her curves. Her makeup was flawless and her hair was styled perfectly into a high ponytail. The stranger's gaze locked onto Sonia's, eyes sending sparks, and for a moment, they just stared at

Chapter: Choking on foodGreg shook his head, “Glamour Entertainment’s artist had an affair with Sunlight Entertainment’s artist. However, when the artist from Sunlight Entertainment was caught, the company took advantage of your situation and together with Glamour Entertainment, increased the flame under you. They didn't care what the outcome of your struggle would be. All they cared about was maintaining the image of their artists.” Meera gasped. “You mean both companies have a hand in what I'm going through?”“Hm. With your ex-husband and his mistress's fanbase, they wouldn't have been able to stir so much wave. I knew something was fishy when the videos suddenly blew up the internet in less than 10 minutes, so I had someone look into it and found out both Glamour and Sunlight Entertainment bought the top spot on every media outlet.” Meera’s grip on her spoon tightened. Chapter: Greg's start of revenge Inside the car speeding down the road, Meera was staring at the scene outside the window as they zoomed by, however her mind was trapped in the event that happened earlier. It's been six months already, yet people were still hacking on her matter and wouldn't let go. She sighed for the umpteenth time, suppressing the dull ache in her heart. Suddenly, a phone appeared in her view. She turned her head and saw that Candice had extended her phone and she wouldn't talk. It seemed Candice was still annoyed. Looking down at the screen, it was Greg calling. Meera took the phone and placed it on her ear. “Hey,” she said but her voice was hoarse, barely making a sound. ‘I saw the videos. The light coming from the yacht and the multi-coloured Illumination from the waterfall brightened the area, so much so that one would almost forget it was night. “This, I must bring Emma here,

Chapter: Greedy Emperor Asher and Anamika didn’t bring their bags, except for the roses she placed in a vase beside the window. The sun was slowly giving way to the moon by the time Anamika was done re-pruning the 99 roses and setting them in a vase of warm water to keep them alive for much longer. “We didn’t bring anything along.” She sat on the bed. From inside, she could view the surroundings, thanks to the glass doors and windows. The place only has one room, a kitchen, and bathroom. “Roy brought your necessities… everything is in here,” he opened the wardrobe for her to see. “Oh, you came prepared,” she looked down at her ring. She’s been caressing it ever since he wore it on her finger. A smile settled on her lips as she remembered his cheeky confession. Suddenly, she chuckled. “Mind breaking the good news to me?” he got into bed and hugged her from behind. “I was wondering. Since when did you realize you loved me?” She asked. Asher pulled her so she was sitting in between his legs while he wrapp

Chapter: You're My Weakness Rena’s POV. Watching Demir's peaceful face as he slept. He looked vulnerable and tired, making me realize he was still just a man - a human with too much weight on his shoulders. My heart swelled with emotion as I gazed at him, feeling a deep respect and affection for this complex, brooding man, especially after what I learnt about him from Soni and Peter. Stepping closer to him, I reached out to brush a strand of hair from his forehead, to feel his warm skin beneath my fingertips, but I hesitated, unsure if I should disturb him. He's been away for two weeks and just returned. I was told he eradicated a gang in Turkey, those people who kidnapped me, and he got in trouble with the government. I was also told he's been settling scores with a man called Viktor and aiming for his territories, just to provide a protective environment for me. The first time he was attacked in his villa was also because of me…at least, he killed Mr. Kim to save me. Just how much strength does he have

Chapter: What he did because of herRena’s POV. For three days, I wasn't allowed to leave the hotel room. Demir stayed with me for two days, but this morning, he left for business, however, he made sure to draw the curtains and leave a team of heavily armed men by the door - something I tend to forget. The event from three days ago was still very fresh in my mind. I could still hear the gunshot and see the bodies falling everywhere… The innocent passersby who died because of me… I couldn't get rid of the images of the shock on their faces. Curled up in bed, I wished I had the power to turn back the hands of time. I wished I could prevent those people from dying…what would their families be going through right now? It was all my fault. I should have stayed in the room and shouldn't have gone out that day… The sound of the door opening didn't get my attention, but when I felt a presence walking towards the bed, it triggered me, and the first thing I did was to lift whatever my hands could touch and hauled it at the p

Chapter: Drum of warKaan’s POV. Hearing the report about what happened to my wife brought me nothing but laughter. A chaotic cackle with absolutely nothing amusing to the ears. It was villainous, malicious, and those around me knew they'd touched what they shouldn't have. The sheer intensity of my own fury surprised me, let alone those gang leaders sitting around the table with me. The guts of these people to take my woman as leverage to force me to sign a deal. My reaction startled everyone on the table, making them stare at me with wonder and a hint of fear. I could see the unease in their eyes, the uncertainty about how to react to my explosive laughter. I let the laughter die down and my expression turned cold and menacing. Leaning forward, my eyes scanned the room, locking onto each of the gang leaders in turn. "You think you can use my wife as leverage?" I asked, my voice low and deadly. "You think you can threaten me and get away with it?" The room fell silent, each giving the other a curi

Chapter: Kidnapped Rena’s POV. Standing in the place that used to be my home, tears pricked the corners of my eyes. 17 years ago, a huge mansion sat on this huge plot of land, but now, it was barren, nothing but a vast expanse of empty space, overgrown with weeds and wildflowers. No semblance of the building could be found anywhere. A scene of me running around the compound with my cousins flashed in my mind. My grandmother sternly chastised my cousin brothers for not looking after me…they made my unforgettable memories. Memories of my childhood that was cut short. I stood there, my tears hidden behind my oversized dark shades and big floppy black hat, unaware of the time, until Micheal reminded me that we've spent three hours just standing there.I turned around, giving the piece of land a last glance before leaving. Bianca told me that this land has been claimed by the government, since none of my distant relatives wanted to be associated with us, for fear of meeting the same fate. In my mind, I'd

"I think I have just the thing," she said, disappearing into the back of the store. She returned with a beautiful, handmade dress that looked like it belonged in a museum. The intricate embroidery and delicate patterns sparkled in the light, and I felt a lump form in my throat as I gazed at it. "This is stunning," I breathed, my eyes welling up with tears.
