Maximus POV

"You promised me you would come visit me. You have been giving me the same excuse for the past few months. Aren't you tired of it?" she whined.

I sighed, trying to end the video call but Mia gave me a bone-chilling glare.

"I know I failed to keep my promise but I have a business to run, Mia. I can't just make time whenever you want me to come visit you in college. I thought Mason came last month. I heard he spent a lot on you and both of you had fun. Why are you whining like a little girl? Come on Mia, I can't just leave the company like that. I spent so much time and hours on this business to let it fall. We will see each other when you come back during summer break."
