Carly Bishop came back to Taverdale after ending her studies earlier than expected.

Leah heard about this from Jasper after they had an intense lovemaking session in the hotel.

She couldn't process what was going on.

Carly was Damon's cousin and Kayden's elder sister, and she'd been studying abroad all these years.

"Once Carly arrives, we shouldn't meet each other in secret anymore." Jasper leaned against the headboard and smoked.

He told Leah about this as if he was just talking about the weather.

But Leah didn't understand this. After all, Jasper being good friends with Damon for so many years had never stopped him from sleeping with her.

"How does her coming back here have anything to do with us?" Leah asked.

"Don't you know why she's coming back?" There was mockery in Jasper's eyes when he looked at Leah. He didn't like how she was asking a question that she already knew the answer to.

"My family's hoping that I'll marry Carly." Jasper then slowly put on his shirt.
