Jason's POV

Storming out of her house, I couldn't help but hit my steering wheel angrily. Clara wouldn't act rashly if she didn't see evidence of what Violet had told her.

Of all the Clarksville family, Clara was the most accommodating and kind. Violet must have done this in revenge for forcing her into marrying me. I would find out the truth and make sure to deal with her.

“Violet brought trouble into my family!” I thought as I ruffled my hair.
