Chapter 50

Oswald at a bar in the night with a bottle of beer in his hand. He needed time to think and plan a good way to expose Mr. Wright because he noticed the people he had been keeping watch on were leading him in the wrong direction.

He drank from the bottle, placing it back on the table in front of him. He didn't want to disappoint Ronald by failing to protect Rosy hence he was disturbed.

He was still lost in thought when he saw Kendrick walk in with Daniel. He watched them as they took a seat at a corner in the bar. They ordered drinks. He walked to their corner and sat behind them to hear their conversation.

“How have you been coping man?” Daniel asked Kendrick as he opened his drink.

“I regret everything. I shouldn't have gotten myself into this in the first place,” Kendrick complained bitterly.

“You are in it already so just deal with it,” Daniel said.

“I know, that's what I am doing right now,” Kendrick replied.

“How is Rosy? It has been a while since I have seen her. Is she fine?” D
