When Rosy saw Lyon it was as if she was seeing Ronald again when he was a child. Lyon took every tiny feature of Ronald which got her interested in hearing whatever Clara had to say. She was crying because Ronald's son was suffering the same thing they went through as kids, being looked after by a single parent all because of Mr. Wright. She was happy because Ronald actually had a son and she has a nephew after all. She pulled Lyon to herself and gave me a tight hug. When she finally disengaged from the hug, she asked Clara, “Why didn't you try to reach out somehow? You have a phone, you could at least reach out.” She questioned Clara sadly. “Mr. Wright threatened to kill anyone I contacted and…” pointing at Lyon, “him too. I can't bear to see that happen. He has men watching me but I don't know them.” She continued, “He knows my every move and.. and.. right now, I am scared he will come for you and me too when he finds out,” she cried out. Javier turned to Rosy to confirm
“Poor kids, they have no mother to look after them.” a woman said, referring to young Rosy and Ronald. “Rosy, they are mocking me. My friends kept asking when my mom would come back. I am the only one without a mom among my friends,” Ronald complained to Rosy. “Rosy, my friends at school said mom never loved dad, that was why she gave birth to me and left,” Ronald complained. “Rosy, do you think I can love truly when I grow up?” Ronald asked. “Why did you say that?” Rosy inquired. “Because I never got to experience a mother's love, I am scared,” Ronald reported frightened. “Ronald has just been involved in an accident. You need to be here immediately,” the caller said to Rosy. Rosy was dreaming about the things that happened in the past, what she went through with Ronald as a child, and even when they grew up, and how she was informed about Ronald's accident. How she got to the accident scene and met the unconscious body of Ronald before the hospital came in to take him. Tears
After Dr. Fred ended the call, she continued with the cleaning of Ronald's body. “Ronald, I wish you could wake up right now. A lot has happened and I am the only one going through it without any support.” She wiped the tears that fell from her eyes. “Mr. Wright is doing more harm than before. Is not easy fighting him and everyone alone. I am involved in so many things at the same time that I feel I will pass out soon. Ronald, I am tired.” Rosy complained to Ronald who was lying calmly on the bed. “I am scared. I am scared that I will lose you, lose Dad's hard work, and lose everything Dad ever worked for. Ronald, please get up, you have stayed too long, please, Ronald, please.” Rosy cried pleading with Ronald to wake up. She spent a few more minutes crying, giving Ronald reasons why he needed to wake up. The nurse in charge of cleaning Ronald up soon came in to ask if she needed anything. Rosy quickly wiped her eyes with her hand, collected her handkerchief, and dried her eyes ver
It's been a few days since she gave Dr. Fred the hair to do the DNA test and also requested Kendrick to get her a house. She had no intentions of moving out, but the house was to be given to Clara and Lyon if the result proves that Clara was telling the truth. Javier had been giving her feedback about Clara and Mahon about Mr. Wright. Oswald, who was assigned to watch Cassandra, said she hadn't made any funny move, not even seeing Mr. Wright. For a few days, she had taken time to rest and get back to work. Since her request, Kendrick hasn't bothered her because she told him clearly that she won't speak with him unless he presents the house to her. She was at her office making a wristwatch design. Thinking about her unborn child, she wanted to make a family wristwatch collection, she had a sketch for the father and the mother, but she was having difficulties with that of the child. She told Jane to get her a cup of coffee while she stayed away for some time. Jane came back with two
Mahon sat behind the wheel, and he drove quickly. Rosy kept checking Lyons pulse while Clara was in a praying mood, her hands were joined together. When she finally looked at Lyon, who was on Rosy's lap, Rosy used the opportunity to ask her some questions about Lyon's health. “Has this ever happened?” Rosy asked. “No. This is the first time he is experiencing this,” she sniffed. “Did he ever make any complaints to you about his health?” Rosy asked further. “I am aware of the persistent cough and diarrhea, most times, he complains about having difficulty breathing and abdominal pain,” Clara explained, her face full of tears. “What did you do about it?” Rosy inquired. “I managed the visible symptoms in the best way I could, and I have been saving up so he can see a doctor. I didn't expect it to get to this extent.” Clara wailed. “He will be fine.” Rosy encouraged her while she continued praying. Rosy had called Dr. Fred about the emergency, and the nurses had prepared a gurney w
“When Rosy left Dr. Fred's office with Clara, she didn't know what to do. Her Dad had told her he went through the surgery thrice. When he was a kid, as a teenager and when he was an adult which she Rosy was aware of because she was beside him all through the process. They got to Lyon's room and he was still asleep, she felt sorry that he would be going through surgery at a young age. She wondered how many more times he will go through it if this one is done. Clara walked closer to his bed. She carried his hand and held it softly as she let the tears in her eyes fall. Rosy felt pity for Clara. It must be really difficult for her to hear that her son was suffering from that. What if she wasn't with them when Lyon collapsed, how would she have been able to deal with the situation alone, especially when it had never happened before. Maybe it wouldn't have gotten to this extent if Lyon was close by. She would have been aware of it maybe at his birth because they have qualified doctors
“Thank you to every member of this body for granting me the privilege to stand in your midst today and make a complaint about your Chairman.” Mr. Wright started. “Cut off the pleasantries, we don't need it. Now go straight to the point.” The ever-inpatient and straight-faced Mr. Kyle spoke making Mr. Wright mute for a minute. Every member of the body gives Mr. Kyle his respect because he commands it with his actions and words. Rosy saw Mr. Piper giving Mr. Wright a signal to make it snappy. Of course, Mr. Kyle had spoken, it was a sign that he didn't have all day to spend with them. One of the members coughed and Mr. Kyle gave him a cold stare. Mr. Wright gulped when he saw Mr. Kyle's reaction and went straight to the point. “I met the chairman some time ago and she agreed to give her signature approval to a new wine company that belongs to Ruserick but up till now, I haven't gotten any response from her.” Mr. Wright reported. “Any other complaints?” Mr. Piper asked. “Uhm… No. Ah
The sight of Lyon pleading to see his father, a father he has every right to know, hurt Rosy. She thought she had gone through it with Ronald so their kids won't. She still wishes her mom would come back one day. Even if she knew she wouldn't forgive her at least she could see her face and see what she looked like at present. Her heart ached as Lyon continued to beg her, and when she couldn't take it anymore, she told him it was fine. Lyon exclaimed happily, his both hands raised and suspended in the air by him. “Thank you, Aunt Rosy,” Lyon shouted. The gurney was still in his nose, so it was difficult for him to express his happiness through actions. “You don't have to thank me, Lyon. I am your aunt, I am expected to always help you when you need help as your second mom, and believe me, Lyon, I will do anything just to see you happy.” Rosy said. Lyon stretched his hand to Rosy, and he gestured for her to come closer. Rosy understood what he meant and sat on the bed, and Lyon car
