Now that Kendrick knows Rosy's true identity, what will he do, and will Rosy change her plans now that she knows about the will, or will she forgive Kendrick and support Ruserick? What will Cassandra request from Mr. Wright next, now that he gives her whatever she wants? I can't wait to see what happens next. Thank you for following this book so far. “She did nothing wrong to be voted out,” Mr Jack yelled, he has been in a heated argument with Mr. Patrick, his assistant, for some time. Patrick wants him to look into Rosy and yield to the request of the other board members to remove Rosy but he has kicked against it. “We don't want to be led by a woman. We never brought this up when Ronald was in position. Did we?” Mr. Patrick screamed at Jack. “Because he wasn't a threat to you people. Why will you want him to leave?” Mr. Jack questioned. “That's not the reason. Rosy has been making decisions with her emotions since she came in.” Mr. Patrick said, lowering his voice. “Give me an instance when she made decisions with her emotions,” Mr. Jack demanded. “There are a lot of instances, how about the pending request from Ruserick Enterprises as the ATU chairman?” Mr. Patrick asked. “That has nothing to do with R.B.” Mr. Jack replied. “The buying of GG? Why did she buy it when she heard Ruserick was interested in it?” Mr. P
Rosy had arranged for Mr. Jack to do the ribbon cutting at the opening on her behalf while she just went with Kendrick as a regular guest, but when Oswald called to inform her of what he had found out and her eventual confirmation, she changed plans. While they were on their way, she had messaged Mr. Jack that she was going to do the ribbon cutting herself. He had asked her if she was sure about it, to which she agreed. Kendrick was so busy looking at the road that he didn't know Rosy was messaging someone. When they finally reached, Mr. Jack had given her a head nod from afar to signify everything had been settled. Without replying to Kendrick's question, she walked into the house. Cassandra was no longer in the living room when she entered. She got to her room and sighed heavily, it was a long evening, and she had been holding her breath since they left the drink shop. Kendrick did not follow her when she entered, he was still in his car. He feels so terrible. Rosy's mind
Despite everything Kendrick told Rosy about what happened behind her back, which led to him treating her badly, she didn't care. Her mind was made up, she wouldn't fall for his deceit anymore. “I don't believe anything you just said,” Rosy said to Kendrick, to his dismay. Kendrick looked at Rosy weakly. He knew it would be difficult for her to forgive him, but he was still hopeful because Rosy was a kindhearted woman who had always forgiven him even if he didn't apologize. “Believe me, Rosy, I was just angry at Mom that I transferred the anger onto you,” Kendrick explained. “Kendrick Madavaski, I don't care,” Rosy said. “Rosy, please find a place in your heart to forgive me, please.” Kendrick pleaded. Rosy smirked, “You don't deserve my forgiveness. Oh, I did forgive you before, but not anymore.” Rosy replied, looking at Kendrick, who was still on the floor. Kendrick stood up, looking Rosy in the eyes, he said with so much determination in his voice, “I will do everything I can,
Mahon has a spy who is working closely with Mr. Wright. The spy had been giving him every information he knew of. When the spy told him that Mr. Wright was no longer hiding his intentions, he thought it wise to tell Rosy about it quickly. Rosy gulped down to make her dry throat wet. She feared for Mr. Jack because he might give in if the pressure was too much or if he was being threatened. “I don't know what to say right now but it must be difficult for Mr. Jack. I will meet with him later.” Rosy released the air she had held in her nostril as she sank into her chair. “What is your plan now? Mr. Wright has been acting weird these few days, I think he has something to pull you down. I have tried to lay my hands on it but I can't find anything.” Mahon pointed out. “He has something on me?” Rosy asked “What could that be? I don't think I have done anything wrong.” “That's the issue. So far, you haven't made any mistakes, but he has something he is holding on to. I think you need to h
Javier, who had been keeping an eye on Mr. Wright before he met Rosy, gets more serious about it when he finds out that Rosy is after him, too, as well as Oswald. Day and night, he kept watching him. He knew about Cassandra all the while, but he didn't want to tell Rosy about it, but when she asked the second time, he gave in. There was only one way to know everything about Mr. Wright and that was to get into his phone, he had thought one day. With that in mind, he kept sending malicious links to him on his social handles. One day, luck was on his side as Mr. Wright clicked on one of the links by mistake. He exited the site immediately, but it was too late already, as it had been hacked by Javier. That day was his happiest day ever. Without wasting time, he began checking all of Mr. Wright's messages but he didn't find much. So he checked his call log instead. He saw a contact he frequently called, but it wasn't saved in his phone, which means either he wrote it down somewher
When Rosy saw Lyon it was as if she was seeing Ronald again when he was a child. Lyon took every tiny feature of Ronald which got her interested in hearing whatever Clara had to say. She was crying because Ronald's son was suffering the same thing they went through as kids, being looked after by a single parent all because of Mr. Wright. She was happy because Ronald actually had a son and she has a nephew after all. She pulled Lyon to herself and gave me a tight hug. When she finally disengaged from the hug, she asked Clara, “Why didn't you try to reach out somehow? You have a phone, you could at least reach out.” She questioned Clara sadly. “Mr. Wright threatened to kill anyone I contacted and…” pointing at Lyon, “him too. I can't bear to see that happen. He has men watching me but I don't know them.” She continued, “He knows my every move and.. and.. right now, I am scared he will come for you and me too when he finds out,” she cried out. Javier turned to Rosy to confirm
“Poor kids, they have no mother to look after them.” a woman said, referring to young Rosy and Ronald. “Rosy, they are mocking me. My friends kept asking when my mom would come back. I am the only one without a mom among my friends,” Ronald complained to Rosy. “Rosy, my friends at school said mom never loved dad, that was why she gave birth to me and left,” Ronald complained. “Rosy, do you think I can love truly when I grow up?” Ronald asked. “Why did you say that?” Rosy inquired. “Because I never got to experience a mother's love, I am scared,” Ronald reported frightened. “Ronald has just been involved in an accident. You need to be here immediately,” the caller said to Rosy. Rosy was dreaming about the things that happened in the past, what she went through with Ronald as a child, and even when they grew up, and how she was informed about Ronald's accident. How she got to the accident scene and met the unconscious body of Ronald before the hospital came in to take him. Tears
After Dr. Fred ended the call, she continued with the cleaning of Ronald's body. “Ronald, I wish you could wake up right now. A lot has happened and I am the only one going through it without any support.” She wiped the tears that fell from her eyes. “Mr. Wright is doing more harm than before. Is not easy fighting him and everyone alone. I am involved in so many things at the same time that I feel I will pass out soon. Ronald, I am tired.” Rosy complained to Ronald who was lying calmly on the bed. “I am scared. I am scared that I will lose you, lose Dad's hard work, and lose everything Dad ever worked for. Ronald, please get up, you have stayed too long, please, Ronald, please.” Rosy cried pleading with Ronald to wake up. She spent a few more minutes crying, giving Ronald reasons why he needed to wake up. The nurse in charge of cleaning Ronald up soon came in to ask if she needed anything. Rosy quickly wiped her eyes with her hand, collected her handkerchief, and dried her eyes ver
