John Jacob POV

My jaw clenched as Jacques arrived with Melinda. What are they doing here? I closed my eyes as she approached Guia. She stopped right in front of the latter.

Jacques eyed Guia. And I wanna snatch his eyeballs from his eye sockets. Guia is mine and I can’t let him have her. Not even a single glance. Jacques has the propensity to charm everyone. . . and I can’t allow that! I cleared my throat and that’s how I got Melinda’s attention.

“Oh, hi there loverboy.” She bowed and held my shoulder before attempting to kiss my cheek but I dodged. “Hey, what’s wrong?” She chuckled and looked at Guia and the twins. “Why is this bitch and her bastards here?”
