Chapter 103

Annelise's POV

“I need to get to the mall." Esther mumbled as she started the car. We had just walked out of the hospital and was now driving out.

“I'll go with you." I said.

“I thought you'd want to keep it low for now." She said, glancing at me.

"Going to the mall with you is nothing. Besides, I want to get some things too. I didn't take my painting materials and I have orders to deliver soon.” I replied.

It's not even like anyone is looking for me or something.

"Oh, since you want to get something too, we'll just go togther then.” She mumbled.

We arrived at the mall in no time and we both got in. My stomach is already grumbling, indicating that I needed to feed it already even though I ate in the morning already.

“Okay, I'll go get what I need to, would you be okay to get yours yourself?" She asked and I nodded. I've been here countless times before, some minutes on my own wouldn't hurt me.
