Chapter 109

Annelise's POV

I felt a hand shake me awake, making me open my eyes. I had fallen asleep on the way here, almost immediately after she drove out of the restaurant's parking lot.

Esther stood outside the car, creating a feeling of deja Vu. This was exactly what happened the day I arrived here.

“Thank you." I mumbled as I got out of the car and closed the door behind me.

The moment I took a step, i hissed loudly, holding my head with my hands. A sharp pain coursed through my head. The headache had worsened too.

“Are you okay?" I heard Esther ask beside me.

I managed to open my eyes even though the sunlight was making my head ache even more.

“I'm tired, and this headache is increasing." I mumbled with gritted teeth.

“Sorry, can you at least get in yourself? I'll help you get drugs afterwards." She said and i nodded slowly.

I tried to take another step, but it was even worse, Esther helped me in with almost all of my weight on her till we got into her apartment.
