"You have no clue!" Alice moaned. "I can't stay aware of these young people like I used to. Have both of you had some good times?"

"We have, mum." Abby radiated. "We've had a languid end of the week, aside from Mark's on Friday night. Father offered me to supper."

"Dazzling," Alice said as she unfastened the sack and stuffed the substance in the clothes washer. She trusted that Abby wouldn't see that they were unworn and was eased that she was too bustling, collapsing her own sheets to take note.

They spent Sunday together; Alice was extremely drained that evening for much else exhausting than nestling. Having a sense of security in Tim's arms, she floated off to rest.
