Paul left for his acting school feeling very enthusiastic. He couldn’t believe he was finally joining the institution. It was a dream come true for him.

He had wanted to see Greg before leaving, and so he went to the restaurant they had co-owned and found out that he had left the city and gone for the cooking contest. He tried calling him, but the call went straight to voicemail. He left a message wishing Greg the best of luck and that they would keep in touch.

At the school, Paul was surprised to see a long queue at the admissions. He had assumed many people wouldn’t be reporting on the first day, but it seems they were as eager as he was.

“Get your identification documents ready. You should also have with you a copy of your admission letter,” they heard through the intercom. Soon, it was Paul’s turn. He wasn’t looking where he was going, so he hit something that felt like a wall.
