Raya’s POV
A shrill cry, unmistakably Blake's, reverberated in the air and pierced my soul. Adrenaline coursed through my veins, and I was off like lightning — feet moving before I could make sense of what was happening. My heart pounded in my ears as I raced back to Blake's side. He stared at me, eyes wide with shock, as if he couldn't believe I had made it back so quickly.
"Selene?" he whispered, unsure.
"What? No, it's me." I furrowed my brow at him, wondering if maybe he'd hit his head.
"Raya?" He sounded so surprised, like he would have never guessed it was me.

Dane’s POV “Are you sure he’s going to help her?” I asked Garret for the hundredth time as we geared to head to the Lunaris pack lands. “For fuck’s sake!
