“Now what? Are you going to keep me locked away forever? Even after you reject me or find out I am not truly your mate?” I asked him, trying to anger him enough to leave. Probably a stupid plan, but it’s all I have for now.

“So what if I do? Maybe I’ll keep you up here and fuck you whenever I want. Your body calls to mine. You felt it last night, just as I did.” He leaned forward with a playful smirk, closing the distance between us. I backed away on the bed, trying to make sure he couldn’t reach my lips with ease.
