Alpha Damon. It was getting late but I wasn't done with some of the work in the office. Peterson was in the office with me organizing some of the files that I had sorted out, and was already signed. With the way he was stealing glances at me, I knew he had something he wanted to say but wasn’t saying it to me or maybe he was looking for the right moment to let it all out. His eyes met mine, and he knew I had caught him staring at me. I dropped the paperwork I was working, and decided to give him the attention that he wanted. “What do you want to say?” I asked, and toyed with the pen between my forefingers.“I don’t have anything to say, Alpha.” He murmured, and stared down at the files he had gathered in hands, dropping them off in the shelves. “You know you can’t lie to me Pete.” He spun around, but didn’t move away from the shelf, and leaned close enough with his hands in his pocket. “You’ve been giving me side glances, and I know you’ve something to say.” He sighed, and st
Aria. Soren spent the way with me till it was almost dusk and he needed to leave the pack before it became too dark, and the guards at Silverwolf Pack would definitely ask where he had been, he could get arrested and interrogated. He had to avoid that, I didn’t know it had become that late, I would have asked him to leave earlier but I didn’t want him to leave and held him down with my random conversation, and he entertained me and made me laugh a lot and I had forgotten about time. “You can go back now, Aria.” He halted on his track, and stared at me, and the sleeveless shirt that I wore. “Let me see you get in a car first, then I will go back home.”“You are stubborn sometimes.” He sighed and took off his jacket, and wore it over my body. He had an inner white shirt, and that saved him from having his bare body revealed when he took off his Jacket. “Have this one, it’s getting cold.” He insisted, and I couldn’t argue with him but stared at the jacket. He stretched out his hand
Damon. “Where is Aria?” I asked when I came home, I didn’t see her when I was driving in, she wasn’t standing on the balcony and she wasn’t inside when I came out either. “Maybe she is in her room.” Peterson answered instead of the maid I was asking. “Have you seen her?” I turned to ask the maid again, she shook her head and lowered her gaze quickly. “When was the last time you saw her?” I inquired. “I will go check her room.” Peterson spoke and went out, heading towards the stairs to her bedroom. “Answer me!” I barked at the maid, and it made her flinch. “I’m sorry, Alpha. She was with a guest the last time I saw her.” “And?” “That’s all I know, Alpha.” She answered timidly, and I shoved her aside. “Find her!” I ordered. “Yes, Alpha.” She answered in a quaking voice. I met Peterson running down the stairs. He shook his head at me. “She wasn’t in her room.” “Did anybody come here?” I asked the maid when she was about to leave. “Just the guest, Alpha.” “And w
Aria. The only option I had was to run into the woods at the side of the road, he came after me. I screamed for help as I ran, but I could only hear my own voice in the whole forest. It didn’t stop me from running more than my legs could. I had the thought of climbing over a tree but he could bring down the tree if he wanted to, though that seemed to be the best option that I had, and I wanted to escape and not let him get me. My body hit against a tree branch which I didn’t see on time because I was glancing behind me, and I rolled over the hill which I didn’t even know was there, and fell face down. I didn’t know how long it would take before I was able to get back to myself. I groaned because I felt pains all over my body, I tried to stand but my ankle hurt. I looked around, it was too dark where I was, and I was covered with the canopy trees and grasses. I reached out to a tree, and drew closer to it, and leaned against the tree. I shut my eyes and opened them after a momen
Damon. “Aria!” I yelled, I was standing at the top of the hill when I saw her, going around would take a while before I got to her, and I didn’t want that. I had seen the wolf attacking her, Peterson held me back when he knew what I intended to do. “I will be fine.” I told him and took his hand away from me, I gripped tight to the torchlight I held. “I will meet you at the other side, Alpha. I have to check around the woods if there are others, or something lurking around.” “Do that.” I nodded at Peterson, and without a second thought, I jumped down from the hill, perfectly landing on my feet. A lowly grumble came out of my chest, and I made my way down to them, the black wolf was on her body. “Aria!” I pushed the wolf off her body, and he rolled over to the side away from her, there was a stick on his chest, and his eyes were wide open. I gathered Aria in my arms. Her breathing was heavy, and her eyes were flickering. “Stay awake, Aria.” I whispered, and shook her. There was
Soren. I held Aria’s hand beside the bed while whispering and staring at her sleepy face. We had gone out of the room after a maid came in, dressed her and attended to her wounds. The jacket I had given her was stained with blood as well and I watched the maid take out the jacket and the clothes she wore, and dump them in the trash while I waited outside for her. When she was done, I went into the room, Damon left. I was alone with her, and I saw her diary open on top of her table. I let go of her hand, closed the diary, and dropped it inside her drawers. Then I went back to the bed, sat beside her, held her hand and prayed that she would be fine. There was a bandage on her head, and at the side of her ribs, and even her shoulders. “I’m sorry, Aria.” I muttered, and stroked her face with my fingers. I knew it was late, and past midnight now, and I should’ve been at the pack by now else I would get in trouble with Alpha Rowan but I didn’t want to leave Aria this way. I blamed m
Damon. I was outside her door, I heard her voice, she was muttering in her sleep. I couldn’t take another step from where I stood because he was there with her, Soren was in the room with her. He had promised to stay with her, I dragged a step back, I stared at my hands, it was stained with blood, I hid them behind me and hurried into my room along the hallway and slammed the door shut behind me. I went directly into the bathroom, and stripped the clothes off my body and turned on the showers. I watched as the blood washed down off my body, and my hand but didn’t wash the fact that I did something to the maid that attended to her. I gave her instructions on what to do and I didn’t trust her to let her go just like that, rumors could spread around the pack, and Soren didn’t know either what happened to her, and that her wound had covered up. I stayed for over twenty minutes under the shower, before I left the bathroom, and then I dressed up but I wasn’t getting dressed to sleep.
Damon. Someone touched me and shook me lightly, whispering my name, and I woke up with a startle. My heart started to pound so fast, as if it was about to jump right out of my chest. “Alpha.” The voice called, I glanced my hand tightly on my chest, and I was going to fall whatever I was sitting on, but the strong arm held me and forced me back on the seat. “Open your eyes, Alpha. I will get your drugs, get a grip of yourself please.” He said, and I forced my red eyes open, my heart hitting against my chest so hard. I glanced around where I was quickly, and it was the study room. Peterson was squatted, and was looking around for something. “Is everything okay?” Someone asked outside the door. “Yes, give me a minute, the study is a bit messed up.” Peterson replied because I couldn’t speak, and was struggling to calm my heart, and control my breathing. “I can’t see it, Alpha.” Peterson muttered, and stared at me. “Try and follow my breathing. In and out.” He stood in front of me,
Lucian. I treated the bruises on my face and cleaned the blood off, I stared at my bruised face in the mirror in the bathroom and sighed. Soren had run away from the Pack, and Liam was investigating what happened, though I had no idea why he was doing that and it was clear that Soren had killed the guard that was supposed to take him to prison and run away. A fight had broken out, some of the soldiers came, fought, and thought that I was with Soren and beat me up. I didn’t fight back, it would ruin my chance against Rowan if I did and that would make it even more suspicious, I did nothing. And allowed to get hit. I had no idea where Soren had gone after what he did but Alpha Rowan had ordered me to come to his office in the pack house and that was where I was headed. I grabbed the face towel and wiped my face clean with it and dropped it at the handle door. I came out of the bathroom and walked down to my wardrobe for some clothes. “Sir, Lucian. I brought the coffee you reque
Aria. I came to a halt when I saw him, I think he had been watching me while standing beside a tree, then, I made my way down to him slowly counting my steps as I did. He waited, waiting for me to come to him, and I felt this uncertainty in my chest, the closer that I got to him but I kept going until I was a foot away. He took the last step, and he was just as I had known, and his auburn hair was somehow messy. I stretched and reached out to touch his hair, and tried to calm it with my hand, he grasped my wrist and brought down my hand but didn’t let go of it. He held it, caressed it, and brought it to his lips and kissed it. The silence between us said a lot more than we did and he closed the distance between us in a bone-crushing hug. “I miss you, Aria.” He muttered against my ear. My hand tightened around his back, I had missed him just as much. “I’m sorry I couldn’t be there for you.” He pulled away from me and held my face in his hand, his eyes stared intently into mine.
Damon. Throughout my meeting, and while I was in the office I was staring at the brown handkerchief that belonged to Aria. I brought out a mirror from my drawer stared at the cut that was on my forehead, and brushed a finger over it. It was healed but the memories were still very vivid like it happened just some hours ago. I dropped the mirror and held the handkerchief, it had Aria's scent on it and smelled just like her. I kept the handkerchief on my desk and stared at it. “Alpha. Can I come in?” I heard the voice of Peterson. “What is it?” I asked and he opened the door and came into the office with a smile. He dropped them on my desk. “They are planning on canceling the school project in the Pack.” “I thought we were working on that?” “That’s what I thought too, Alpha.” “This wasn’t the report I wanted to get from you, we’ve to establish the policy in the pack, everyone in the pack will be treated equally in schools and anyone who can’t afford it would be offered some aid
Soren.I was allowed to meet with Lucian, he was having a meeting in the council. I didn’t wait for the meeting to be over before I called him out. I was pacing outside in anger, the guard was watching me under close gaze as if I was about to run away but I know he couldn’t wait to get me, hold me down and take me back into the dungeon. I waited for Lucian to come out. “Soren.” He called, and I turned when I heard the sound of his voice. My eyes locked onto him. For a moment, we just stared at each other, the tension between us palpable. Then, in a flash of movement, I was across the space between us, my hands closing around Lucian's collar like a vice. I slammed him back against the nearest car, the metal crunching beneath the impact.Lucian's eyes went wide as I punched him hard in the face, his head snapping back against the car. He spat out a mouthful of blood, but I was beyond reason."How could you?" I snarled, my fists clenched and ready to strike again. "How could you snitc
Soren.. “What do you mean?” Alpha Rowan asked. I watched him as he took a deep breath, and then exhaled slowly. “I would ask you again, what does that mean?” “I went to the Pack just as you ordered me to, and I can’t tell you how I went there because it’s part of our secret, and we never agreed that we should say that out loud but I was able to get Aria, and then we succeeded in leaving the Pack. I handed her over Kade since he would bring her to you to the Pack.” “He was supposed to do that.” He mumbled quietly. “So why didn’t he do that?” “I don’t know Alpha, he deceived me into taking another part, and then left with Aria. I thought he came down to the Pack but I guess that he didn’t.” He walked across his desk, his fingers tracing the edges of the table. “That’s not what I heard.” He leaned against the table. “Someone was here before you did, and told me about the plan that you had with him. You want me to tell you what the plan was…” He stared at me, and I remained unfaz
Soren. I didn’t feel pleased with what I was doing or what I said to Aria. I was lying to her, and it didn’t sit well with me. I didn’t like the feeling that I had but I couldn’t stop myself from doing it. Kade said he was going to handle it, after I hand Aria to her. I should go back to the Pack and made a report about it, that was the plan. I met Aria outside after she jumped down from her window, I wanted her to be careful. I wasn’t doing this because I didn’t trust Alpha Damon, we just couldn’t take it that Aria was here and not being safe. “Did your hurt yourself?” I saw a bruised on her knee. “When I was climbing down, it wasn’t as easy as I thought.” “You’ve got to be careful, Aria and avoid getting yourself hurt.” “I know so stop with the nagging and let’s leave, Damon will be soon.” “How did you know? I thought he always worked late.” “I heard the maid that was watching, talking to him on the phone, she told him you were here and was leaving.” “And that’s going to
Aria. “Miss. Someone is here to see you.” A maid announced on my door, I stood up from the bed, I have been in my room the whole day after I ate breakfast alone. I heard the voices of Damon and his Beta when they were leaving the house, they left very early in the morning. Damon didn’t drop a message or anything, they just left. I could barely even eat my food, I wasn’t really in a good mood, and I was losing my appetite for food. I came down from the bed and walked to the door, I opened it and met with the maid outside.“Who is it?” “Mr. Soren. He’s outside the front door, and I wanted to come inform you before I let him in, it was the instructions that we got from the Alpha.” She answered, and I nodded at her. I came out of my room and shut the door behind me, I followed her downstairs, we got to the front door, and I told her I would handle it. She bowed slightly, and left. I held the door knob and opened it, Soren was standing there in a jean and shirt, and brown coat. I s
Soren. “…so what should we do?” I asked and rubbed my hands together, I was with Kade, he just finished his training wwith the soldiers. I jumped up from the field I was seated on, and went to himHe was shirtless with just his shorts on. “What do you mean?” He asked. He was walking really fast, I had to jogged to keep up with his face. He was getting towards the end of the field, there was water and a bench placed there. I sat on tbe bench when we got there, and he went to the running water to wash his face. He threw a face towel at him, and he grabbed it and cleaned his face, he walked slowly towards me and sat on the bench next to me. I gave him a bottle water, he took it from my hand and uncapped it. “I got a message from Peterson.”“Who the fuck is that?” Kade furrowed his gaze at me and I rolled my eyes as if he didn’t know who that was, nonetheless, I said “Damon’s Beta.”“What did he say?” “Aria wants to see me.” His hand squeezed the bottle water in his hand. “She wan
Damon. It took a lot to pull myself away from Aria. I was sure of what I felt for her, but I was certain of the feeling that she had for me and I had the thought what if she ended up regretting it and that it shouldn’t have been me? That’s the reason I pulled back from her. Before I came to the beach house, I had made plans and I didn’t want to come without being prepared though I didn’t tell her where we were going. But now we were heading back home because I decided to ruin the moment, I could have kept my hands in my pants. We changed our clothes in the house before we left the beach, and she had seen some old pictures and artifacts in the house. We owned the house, but every member of the Pack could go in there the only place they couldn’t enter was my personal space and that was where we got changed. “…the white wolves, what are they called?” She broke the silence during the ride back home. “Crimson.” I kept my gaze ahead of the road I was driving, I wanted to steal a glan
