Chapter 5

Mikhail's P. O. V.

"Alpha Mikhail, Leela was spotted in London, her pictures will be sent before the day ends sire." 

I looked up from my desk, my gaze landing on his face.

Dean's sentence has been the only good news I've been longing to hear in a long time.

My beta Dean has always been good with his job, it's a miracle that we were able to find my mate.

"Dean, book a flight now to London!"

"No, there's no need for that, get one of my jets started, the pilot should be at the jet before I get to the rooftop."

"Yes sire," he left my office hurriedly.

I've been searching for my mate Leela for four years now, and this is the only information that I've gotten about her for those four years.

I really don't care how I'm going to face her, after what I did to her eight years ago but that will be settled when I've entered London.

I took my coat from the back of my chair and rushed out of the office, like I was being pursued by an unknown force.

I strolled out of the office and went up towards the rooftop. My pilot had already settled in the cockpit, Dean stood by the jet's door ushering me inside the jet.

We entered the jet together and he sat by my side giving me some other details about what his men had found out .

"Boss, you might be surprised but she's totally different now. She is....." He said trying to fight what has been eating him up.

"Let's reach London first, you can fill me in on the details later," I cut him short 

"Yes Alpha" he said before keeping quiet .

After thirty minutes, the jet landed on the roof of a penthouse owned by me. I got inside my house and headed straight to the office, ignoring the greetings from my numerous house helps.

I sat on the chair stationed at one end of the room.

"Now continue what you were saying earlier," I urged him on.

"Alpha, Leela is not the girl from eight years ago, she now goes by the name, Valentina Montane and her house address is 34 district avenue Franchise estate" he said, placing three photos on the desk in front of me.

I looked at the pictures laid out in front of me closely. The Leela I remember had silky raven hair but the lady in the photos has short blonde hair. Did she literally cut her hair to evade being found out?

"What do you mean Valentina Montane?" I asked in a thunderous voice my emotions almost taking control.

"Yes, that is the name of Leela now and she works in a restaurant and in a club as a stripper." His deep voice, shaky after finishing the last sentence.

I shot him a deadly stare for one second and looked back at the photos in front of me. Looking at the photos caused me so much pain, she looked malnourished and unkept and all the blame for that is all on me.

"Is this all you could get Dean," I asked him with gritted teeth trying to suppress my anger.

"No, I have one last photo of Leela that was taken last week, it shows her entire facial features but I don't... think...erm...you," he stammered.

"Dean, fucking use your words, I don't have all day!" I yelled, rage almost taking over my reasoning.

He placed the last photo on the desk, Instead of talking. My eyes popped out and went red Instantly after seeing the last photo. In the photo before me, my mate was standing beside a sink washing gigantic sets of plates and her hair scattered on her head, my blood boiled.

She was supposed to be in power, by my side as the Luna of our pack, I didn't not expect life to turn out this way for her.

My anger changed to sadness instantly, as it downed on me that I was the whole cause of her suffering.

I flung all the photos off the desk and rose up, "Let's go get her Dean" I quickly walked to the door.

"But about your wife, Alpha , Dean grabbed hold of my hand before I could exit the door.

I looked at his hand that grabbed me with seething anger and irritation ,forcing him to recoil and let go of my arm due to fear

"She should go to hell for all I care," I sneered and turned around, stepping out of the room.

I'm not going to leave London with our Leela. I've fallen deeply In love with her over the years, and I've been searching for four years now. Leaving London without her is not even an option.

"Are you going to move your slow ass or should I make you," I thundered looking back at my beta.

He moves hastily to my side and, fidgets before talking.

 "There is something you should know, sire" he said urgently while trying to catch up with me.

"You better stop talking, because there's absolutely nothing you say that will change my mind," I said trying to dismiss him

"Okay but I still have to tell you anyways, Sire, I just got an Intel not long ago about Leela.

"She has accepted the proposal of one Asher Stephens, and after my team did a background check on him, it was found out that he's the descendant of the three greatest lycans In history.

"His powers are almost as per yours sire."

I stopped in my tracks, and muttered, "I've heard of that name before, I just can't remember where"

I looked at Dean and said "It doesn't change a thing, I'm not leaving London without Leela by my side. My Inside stung with an unknown feeling, after knowing that she might be in love with someone else.

Leela is my mate, and that is not going to change.

We entered the Rolls-Royce parked in front of the mansion, and drove off.

My mind was in a frenzy, I wanted to see her even if it's from a distance. I've hurt her terribly and I don't expect her to forgive me.

But I'm not going to leave London till she agrees to come with me.

The car stopped in front of the house that Dean talked about.

We watched the house from a distance, the house was simple but not fit for the Luna of blood moon pack.

After an hour of waiting, she got out of the house, looking around her like a sacred cat, when she was sure nobody was following her, she started walking along the walkway, mixing with other people on the street.

Even with the change of hair, I was still able to recognize her. Her steps were slow but steady.

She stopped In front of a restaurant and sat close to a handsome muscular man. 

Dean stretched his eyes to see the man clearly with sudden realization he muttered, " that's Asher Stephens, he's a billionaire and he also owns one of the clubs Leela worked." 

The air around me turned icy instantly, she was laughing so happily with this stranger. 

"Let's go!" I order with my gritted teeth.
