CHAPTER 4

"Hey!." I feel James beside me.

"What?." I ask using my poker face.

"Nothing." He said.

We were at the middle of our lunch nang bigla na lang kaming nakarinig ng sigaw.

“What the hell?! Beatrice!.” Someone shouted at the corner of the cafeteria. Kaya lahat ng nandito napalingon dun. But I don't give a fuck about them, because I'm hungry as fuck.

"Mukhang meron na namang naka-away ang babae mo Pres." James said then laugh. The same as Josh. Binigyan ko naman sila ng nakakamatay na tingin.

Beatrice Alfonso the bitch who acts like my girl. She's the Queen Bee of this campus, the bully, she bullied every girl who went near me. Hindi parin ako gumagalaw sa kinauupuan ko. I don't care if they even kill each other. 

'Oh di'ba si Erica yun?." Napa-hinto naman ako dahil sa narinig ko, what?!. That brat is on trouble?.

‘Oo nga noh.’

'Ba't kasama niya yung new girl.’ 

"Wait!, Si Erica nga." Josh said, agad akong napa-tingin sa kumpol ng mga tao.

"Aren't you gonna help her?.” Napatingin naman ako kay Oliver dahil sa sinabi, I look at the crowd. I prevent my poker face from leaving my face.

"She can handle that." I said then pinag-patuloy ang pagkain ko.

'Narinig mo yun sister-in-law raw?.'

'Talaga?.’

'Baka sila na ni King?.’ People said.

Napatingin naman ako sa kanila dahil sa sinabi nila. Tumayo nako at pumunta sa kumpol na ng mga tao. Nahawi naman sila, but what surprises me when I see that girl in the elevator, soaking wet of chocolate.

"Excuse me?.” Pa-inosenteng sagot ng kapatid ko.  "You?, As my sister-in-law?. God. I cannot, I just can't.” She said, tapos pinaypayan ang sarili.

"Yes, why not? I'm—" Akmang magsasalita si Beatrice ng putulin ni Rica ang sasabihin niya. "You're a bitch, whore, crazy, ugly son of a bitch!.” Pagpapatuloy niya sa sinasabi ni Beatrice. Napa-smirk naman ako dahil sa sinabi niya, that's my sister!. I saw how she was insulted in that, when she was going to slap my sister. I was going to stop her when, the girl stand up.

"You really don't have any manners with you." She said coldly, halos yata lahat sila nanigas sa lamig ng boses niya. She wipe the chocolates off her face. Then, get her bag. Hindi pa sya nakakalayo ng maka-recover si Beatrice at agad hinawakan ang kamay niya sabay hila paharap sa kanya,

"Wag na wag mo akong tatalikuran habang nagsasalita ako." I saw how she pull her hand from her then look blankly at Beatrice, I saw how they took a step back, even Rica.

"A-Ano?, Kilala mo ba ko?!!.” Beatrice shouted and pretended not to be intimidated, but I could see her shaking a bit. Tsk! Crazy woman.

"No." Then she turned her back on them. Then walk away.

"Ikaw!." Hindi pa man siya nakakalayo ng akmang hihilahin ni Beatrice ang buhok niya ng bigla siyang umikot at hinawakan ang kamay niya, tapos umikot sa likuran niya, tsaka ko pinilipit ang kamay ni Beatrice.

She's fast… Impressive. I said in my mind.

But, how?. Beatrice is a gang leader and their gang is on rank 5. There’s something in this girl, but I can’t identify it. Her profile says she’s just a normal girl. She even came from a commoner family, but how can she move faster than Beatrice. I was pulled back into my reverie when someone tap on my shoulder. Then, I look at James. Kinunotan ko siya ng noo pero tinuro niya lang sina Beatrice.
