Chapter ninety seven

Dylan stayed down in the den for a while until he finally felt like himself at first he thought to just leave Anastasia alone and explain everything in the morning but he knew the way her mind worked and the more time he stayed without explaining, the more time that she had to believe that his words were true.

The thing was, his words were far from the truth, so he got up and took the stairs up to her room. He knocked, and then he opened it up, he looked at the bed, and at first, he thought that she was asleep, but the way her body shook her could tell that she was crying.

He immediately walked to the bed and sat down by her side. “Please don't cry, Anastasia.” I tell her.

“Why? This was what you wanted right? You said what you said to hurt me, and it worked; congratulations, you can leave now.” Anna told him but she didn't turn around to look at him.
