Anna had not seen Dylan since he went up to his office; even after Lucas left, she thought he would come down and join her, but he didn't. So she spent the day playing with Emma and avoiding her mother's calls; she would call her once they were back in the States; if her father was dying, she had half a mind not to go at all, but another part of her wanted to.
