“ He did a good job with that prosthetic eye. But I can’t say that about his arm. ” Izer chuckled, surprising me.

His tone was sinister. It was enough to send chills down my spine.

I remembered he had plucked Rush’s eye out, and taken his arm. How he did it, and the sheer pleasure on his face when he did it still haunted me. In the recent past days, I forgot how cruel he actually could be. It was better that he only opted for hurting me with his words.

I shuddered and stared at Rush through the windshield. His eyes were fine, but if you focused too hard, you could tell that the right eye was hard and didn’t move as smoothly as the left one.

My gaze lowered to his right hand, covered in a black glove.

Whatever Rush did to me, at least, he didn’t deserve to get this permanent damage done to him.

“ You are a…monster for enjoying something like this, Izer. ” I couldn’t help but whisper to him.

“ I never said I was not. ” Izer opened the door and stepped outside.
