THIRD PERSON’S POV.

“It's a surprise.” He informed her and continued to drive, not minding to dive into more details.

But what was he to say?

Spill out everything and ruin in what should have been the look of surprise on her face.

Definitely no.

He aimed to bring back the bond they used to have. Maybe it would soften her enough to tell him what was bothering her.

She said nothing more, her eyes looking out the window as she hoped the trip would be worth it.

The music box continued to sing, playing different jams by various artists. Jax flowed with few, munching on the words he believed were the lyrics. He couldn't vibe to some because he knew nothing of it.

A slow jam came on, something about love and heartbreak. He gulped down some lump of saliva that had gotten stuck in his throat. It felt weird and awkward to him that his body reacted to the song.

Aurora felt her heart hurt. She felt terrible that she was keeping this from him.

But she knew this was for the best.
