As soon as the plane had landed, I hand the girls over to Jax. "Take them to the pack house and wait for me there"

Jax stared at me confused. "What?. What about you? Where will you be?"

Hailing for a cab, I respond hastily. "I have something to sort out"

Climbing into the cab, I ordered that driver to take off before Jax could come after me. When out of Jax reach, I ask the driver to pull over to the side of the road.

Reaching out for my phone, I put a call through to Gary.

"Hey, Aurora" He answers in a chirpy tone. "How are you doing? How are things in LA?"

I clenched my fist, trying to suppress the anger I felt over the fact that Gary was still not telling me that he was at the hospital.

But I wasn't going to keep on playing dumb. "Which pack is it?"

"What do you mean?"

"Which pack is it that attacked us?. You know, don't you?"

"How did you..wait a second, Aurora where are you?"

"Just answer the question, Gary!" As soon as he spilled the information I was looking fo
