Brighter smile

JAX’S POV.

I paced around the room in silence as I awaited her arrival. She had been in the restroom for about thirty minutes, and I considered barging in there to bring her out.

What if something wrong had happened to her? Or maybe the clothes I got were so terrible.

It was my first time getting any female a gift especially shopping for clothes. I was starting to rethink why I didn’t take her with me instead and have her pick. I just got there and picked what I believed would size her.

What if I was wrong?

Unable to think straight, I stepped closer to the door and landed a knock on the door.

“Aurora!” I called out, placing my ear on the door. “You good?” I asked even before she could respond.

Her response didn’t come until later when she pulled the door open to reveal herself dressed in a Blue gown that was twice not her size. It was so small that I wondered how she got in.
