While sitting in the corner of the room, on the freezing floor, I stare at the blood that still stains the bed. I can’t pick up the disgusting scent as intensely as before. It’s like my senses are clogged.

I touch the corner of my lips and wince before shaking my head. Silently, I pull my legs to my chest and wrap my arms around myself.

It doesn’t take much brain to guess that whatever Aleister made me drink has suppressed my Lycan abilities. This is what he meant when he said he would fulfill my wish.

It’s his attempt at stripping me of my pride as the Lycan Princess. By making me vulnerable, he thinks he can break me.

How so very silly of him.

It will take much more than this to make me regret even an ounce of what I said. He deserved everything he got and the things he will get in the future.
