Irina’s POV The women hid us in their cars. As they explained their plan, I asked them if the shopping trip was a way for them to escape, then why hadn’t they all done it? But one of the women told me it wasn’t as simple for them because they were mated. Not marked, but their husbands had forced themselves on them. Irina’s POV Maybe I had underestimated what Alpha Ketill would do and it just didn’t seem likely that he would come to Ivan’s pack, it was why I never wanted to discuss it, plus it would just add to the nightmares that I was already experiencing.
