Irina’s POV

Maybe I had underestimated what Alpha Ketill would do and it just didn’t seem likely that he would come to Ivan’s pack, it was why I never wanted to discuss it, plus it would just add to the nightmares that I was already experiencing.

Ivan lets go of me and I feel something inside me drop. It was odd, sort of like I had enjoyed and welcomed Ivan’s roughness in that moment.

“Am I shifting?” I ask, a little worried and strangely, a little excited

“No. We will most likely be outnumbered. I have already sent Shaun to Damien and I have called in my neighbouring packs, but it will rely on them getting here quickly.”
