Seventy one.

Damien’s POV

It was never my intention too help. Irina had chosen him, the mark he had given her was now too strong and I was no longer a part of it.

Each day that passed, I could feel our bond breaking and the only thing that I could put it down to was that Irina was getting strong feelings for Ivan. Yet the day Shaun arrived, and I told him no, I felt immediate guilt and betrayal. I was breaking the very promise that I had made to Irina and with each passing moment, I felt like I was being put through the wringer. Discovering the information about her being the last Blood Alpha made everything ten times worse.

I still had no idea what it meant and I searched the home for hours looking for something, anything that would give me a clue.
