Chapter 4

Kate sighed as she bit her lip and said, "Okay."

The same response came out of her mouth once again.

Kate lowered her eyes as a gloomy cloud hovered above her head.

She was clearly in a bad mood, but it was as if Raize couldn't see it at all as he hugged Kate's waist tighter and smiled in response to what Kate said.

"I know you love me the most." Raize squinted his eyes after he said those words.

Kate smiled, hearing what Raize said.

'Yeah. I really love you, and that's why she can forgive him for how many times he made such mistakes.

But Kate knows that this will not last.

Looking outside of her window gloomily, Kate felt a moist sensation on her nape.

Raize's hands also roamed around her body.

Before Raize could take this act further, Kate stopped him.

"We are still not officially linked to each other. We can't do something as intimate as this," Kate said, her eyes dropping when she said those words.

Dark light flashed past Raize's eyes, as if dissatisfied by Kate's behavior.

But he then sighed after thinking about something.

"Fine"

Raize walked towards where Kate's bed is and sat down on it after he picked up some books to pretend to read them.

"Your birthday is coming up. Expect some great surprise that will lead you to express undeniable shock as a gift from me."

Kate finally revealed a true smile when Raize started talking about her birthday.

"You will attend my birthday next week?" exclaimed Raize. Nothing can describe the excitement that was currently present inside Kate's chest after Raize said those words.

Raize smiled.

He closed the opened book in his palm and stood up after having to put the book aside.

Walking towards where Kate is, who has a wide grin on her lips.

Raize stooped over to match Kate's height and then messed up Kate's hair.

Kate squinted her eyes, feeling some of the strands of her hair get inside her eyelids.

Raize straightened up after he had done such acts, putting his hands inside his pockets. He smiled and responded to what Kate said a while ago.

"Of course. I am your mate. As your mate, I have the obligation to attend your birthday, whether I like it or not," Raize said in a tone like Kate was such a fool.

Kate's smile disappeared a little after she heard Raize's response.

Her lips curled down as she asked a question in a murmur.

"Do you want to go to my birthday or not?" Some gloom was laced into Kate's tone when she struggled to say those words.

She was still scared.

Raize can do some things that can make her stand on edge and feel very insecure about everything.

Yes, she can forgive, but that doesn't mean that she can forget about the events that broke her heart into pieces.

Raize went silent when Kate asked those questions.

But he then smiled at Kate as a response, and after a matter of seconds passed, he was silent.

"I was messing up Kate's hair at the same time, he said.

"Of course. I would have loved to go to your birthday party. How come you think that I don't want to go there?"

Kate's head, which dropped after she asked such a question, finally had the owner raise it again as Kate's dark eyes shined, like there was crytal twinkling inside those dark orbs.

Raize's heart beat as Kate's shining eyes came into contact with his.

Redness spread to his earlobes as he pretended to cough and then said afterwards, "I'm going back to my house now. We are already on good terms, right?"

Kate smiled and nodded multiple times, extremely excited and happy that the sad events that happened to her a while ago were momentarily forgotten by her.

"Of course we are!" Raize narrowed his eyes as he unexpectedly kissed Kate's forehead.

Kate's eyes widened after Raize committed such acts.

But then she revealed a silly smile afterwards.

Raize, with his earlobes completely red, murmured a goodbye to Kate as he went outside of Kate's room and went home.

Kate's laughter rang across the room.

Michael rolled his eyes in Raize's direction when he heard Kate's laughter and saw Raize coming out of Kate's room with his ears visibly flushed red.

"Oh well. It seems that someone will still suffer another heartbreak later on. When a jerk was forgiven too easily, Michael whirled, but it was not to the point where Raize, who was walking in their direction, did not hear those words.

Raize stopped in his tracks as Riz assumed a bawling posture.

Raize resumed walking once again after the second pass.

After Raize finally went outside Kate's apartment and was already in front of his car, he took a moment to stop in his tracks and look at Kate's apartment.

Narrowing his eyes, some thoughts kept flashing inside his head, and Riz, who had quieted down a lot, started cursing him again.

Raize did not pay any heed to Riz's cursing as he withdrew his gaze from Kate's apartment and entered his car, driving towards his own house to finally rest after such tiring events happened, which we all know happened as a result of Raize's green-eyed monster.

Such jealousy is really hazardous, perilous, precarious, and risky in this world. It is even more dangerous when each individual is in a relationship and this emotion is present in that relationship.

Ting!

Raize rang the doorbell on his house, and the door that had been tightly closed a while ago opened up immediately and revealed a girl wearing a sexy bikini.

"Miss me?" Raize's lips curled up as a sultry look made its way into his dark eyes.

The girl that Kate saw a while ago topping Raize smiled as she leaned in close to his body and took the time to touch his lower part.

"Yeah"

Raize meat sticks were erected after this touch.

He was aroused.

His eyes darkened as he hugged the girl's waist roughly and went towards the couch after he closed the door with a kick.

With his claws completely tearing away the bikini that was blocking the most intimate part of a woman, Raize did what should be done.

If Riz, who went into hibernation because he was extremely pissed off by his other half, sees such a thing happening again,

He would really collapse and fall into hibernation, with no way to tell when he would be able to wake up from this hibernation period.
