Chapter Six 

Ace 

It was getting harder not to fall in love with her. Her story made no sense to me, who would kidnap a newborn just because of a grudge. I went to my office to get some pack work done. I couldn't concentrate, my mind was clouded by the story of Sabrina. It won't be long until the pack will request to meet their Luna. I have to send out more patrol and be ready for war because words must have reached many about my mate. Considering I have a rouge for a mate she would be easy to kidnap. If I hadn't so much work I would have accompany her to go shopping. She really needs a change of cloth and other things for her Luna ceremony too. As I looked at the files I saw one that stood out. It was a wager of war, the file was red. It was from the alpha of the blue moon pack. I paid no heed to it and checked out the other files . Finally, what I've been waiting for. There's new information on the attack of my pack. It was noted that all the preserved bodies have a specific mark on their shoulder region. The mark was scarred and the shape was not seen. 

Sabrina 

 After he left, the house was once lonely. The door was opened and a tall man with long blonde hair packed at the back walked in. He looked young around maybe the age of Ace I'll say. I stared as he approached me with a smile forming on his lips.

" Luna! So pleased to finally meet you" he said with a charming bright smile. 

 " The pleasure is mine" I replied shyly. I wasn't used to be called Luna.

" I'm sure you'll be wondering why I'm here. Well your mate told me to take you shopping. I wonder why he can't do that himself. " He continued rumbling nonstop. 

 I stared at him without saying anything just nodding my head when appropriate. I followed him to the car as he opened the door for me. It was the first time I've seen a car. I didn't want to look so local so I just took my time to climb to the door. 

" Ummm Mister, why didn't the alpha come on his own? I asked

" First of all I have a name Luna"

"Apparently you didn't say so" I stated.

He scratched the back of his head and laughed. It was melodious tone. 

" Pardon me Luna, my name is Troy"

He said with a smile. 

" You haven't answered my question Mr. Troy"I smiled a tight smile.

" It's just Troy and the alpha has pack duties." 

 I gave a nod returned my attention to the road. Maybe he really wants to keep his distance. Although I don't know how mates are supposed to act towards each other , one thing I know is I can feel the spark whenever our hands touch and I feel protected and comfortable anytime he's around. I brought my mind back to the current situation. We stopped before a very large and tall building. I stared in awe of the building, it was magnificent. We walked in and went to different sectors and we go into the elevator. I swear I could have screamed if I wasn't too busy keeping up my performance. I didn't want to embrace myself . We got chocolate and harm burgers and my God it was dammm good. I really enjoyed myself. Choosing a particular cloth was very difficult. My eyes shoon brightly as I saw different designs and matching outfits. Troy told me if I wanted the whole mall I could have it but I didn't want to look greedy.

   In the end, I proudly say Troy gave up on holding the packages and asked for a roller or let's make that three rollers which were filled with different packages. In total there were fifty bags. I giggled as Troy stuffed the bags into the boot of the car. After that we drove home I was happier and appreciated the company of Troy although I wish I could share these moments with my mate. Throughout the ride Troy talked nonstop, although it disturbed my peace I was thankful to not be alone. I felt been lifted. That was when I realized I must have fallen asleep in the car. I heard a low growl followed by a laughter. 

" Jealous are we, Alpha?" I knew it was Troy speaking. 

" She's still my mate and the stupid bond makes my wolf overprotective." My mate replied flatly.

 So he's wolf is the one who likes me not his human I thought to myself. 

Ace

 I figured she must have rested well, so I went to her room unannounced. The pack wants to meet their Luna. While in my office the message was sent by David through one of the pack warriors. It's just a short ceremony I said to myself. She can just stay composed for that short period of time. I walked in to she her sound asleep. She must be a deep sleeper I thought. I would wait till she's up I decided. She looks like an angel I thought to myself, looking so at peace with a contented smile playing on her lips. Her full pink lips were captivating and I found myself getting lost. My hand moved on it's own accord as I tucked back a stray hair that fell across her face. I gently stroked her face, that was when I noticed the slight movement she made. I had the feeling she was awake. I laughed as I thought about it.

" Your Luna ceremony is tonight. I'll announce you as the Luna of this pack." I said while monitoring her movements. 

" What am I supposed to do" she said without opening her eyes. 

" Get dressed that's all. It's by eight pm tonight. I said as I sensed her tense up. 

 Her eyes fluttered open almost immediately. I stared that the most beautiful set of sea green eyes I had ever seen. It reminded me of the rain and nature. Her eyes were endearing. She coughed slightly as I slowly tore my gaze away. I felt the urge to cup her beautiful face in my hands and take in her full lips. I found myself wondering how it would taste.

" Alpha" she said quitely. 

 I was drawed out of my thoughts as I listened to her soft yet quite voice. Her voice felt like comforting. I wished I could draw her tiny frame and engage her into a bear hug.

 " I'll send the maids to help you dress up and tell you what to do" I said quickly and left the room. My wolf was fighting for control and I knew if I stayed longer something would have occurred and I know she isn't ready for something like that yet. I could only hope to spend more time with her.
