Chapter 73

Hazel's POV

The sun had risen and it was bright in the sky. I felt bad, as I could only imagine how Lorena was feeling. She hadn't heard from me and I was certain she was worried sick.

I was in the room alone with Jasper and Cassie. Logan had gone to his room as his doctor wanted to give him a final check up. Before he left, I asked him to call Beta Ryder but wasn't answeing the phone.

All night, till they both fell asleep, Cassie and Jasper had been cooing sweetly to each other. They looked so cute and I didn't want to bother them. They were both still sleeping.

They had healed significantly and could probably be discharged later today. I, on the other hand, was all better. My skin was no longer cold and my breathing was stronger. I sat up in bed and gazed at the bracelet. I couldn't help but rethink about all the shaodws I had seen earlier. If that was how many and how dangerous they all were, then the bracelet was very powerful.
