Part two: Chapter 28

GAZELLE'S POV

My feet carried me away from the office in quick strides. I didn't want to wait around and have them change their minds or tell me that it was a prank. I raced out of the building, making sure to avoid crashing into any other one of the school's properties.

I went back to my room and went back to my bed. I needed.to catch up on some more sleep, but my stomach was growling its annoyance at my missing so many meals.

Reluctantly, I forced myself to leave my bed and head into the shower. I took a hurried bath and changed into a clean pair of sweatpants that were huge, and a huge sweatshirt. I considered leaving my new hair down for all of three seconds before I changed my mind and wrapped it up, tucking it safely behind my head warmer - I read recently that it is called a beanie.

The walk to the cafeteria was long and silent and I wondered why there was no one out here to mock me or call me names of any sort.
