Part two: Chapter 30

JAYDEN'S POV

We kept going after the little weakling, trying to make sense of the fact that she was in hunt mode. But there was also something awfully wrong with the way she smelled.

"Can you smell that?" I passed through my link with Jordan.

His wolf looked at me and nodded. "She's both terrified and vengeful. I think she was..."

A loud shrieking noise cut of the communication between us and we turned back in the direction we were supposed to be looking.

Jordan and I were Alpha wolves, and that made us just a little bit faster and stronger than the average wolf. That and everything we lived through before we came here.

We finally spotted the white wolf as she bared her teeth at a young girl with bright pink hair who was shivering in a corner.

I sent a wave of my Alpha aura over the environment, hoping that it would help to calm the storm raging in the beautiful, angry wolf.
