LORRAINE'S POV

Once upon a time, the idea of sleeping in a cell terrified me, but now, going back to my cell was an utmost relief.

My stomach grumbled but my mind was more focused on the physical state of my body now. My once milky skin was gone.

It was now replaced with burned chalk black skin. I knew it would recover but it was going to take a while.

My stomach grumbled again but I curled on the floor, shutting my eyes in hopes of sleeping.

I was no longer kept underground due to the stress of bringing me back up so they put me in a normal cell and appointed a guard to watch.

“You, guard the prisoner and make sure no one gives her food or water. If she escapes, be rest assured that the Alpha will have your head.”

“Okay.”
