HECTOR'S POV

“You've killed him!” she exclaimed.

I placed my head on his chest, hoping to hear his heartbeat but there was none either.

I straightened up immediately, thinking of the course in line to take.

This was bad. Very bad.

“He's dead, Hector! Why are you just standing here? Do something!” she cried, but what could I do?

I killed a man and there was no way to bring him back to life. I wasn't even supposed to be here!

What would be my excuse? That I heard her screaming and rushed in here to kill him?

The only thing I could do at this moment was hide the body. But before I could make a move, I heard multiple footsteps.

“There he is!” They exclaimed.

They were going to see the body. There was no way to hide it. They marched into the cell and as expected, paused at the sight of the body.
