Chapter 03

"Help me, please help me." Diana whispered weakly and ran to hide behind him, while pulling his shirt.

"Stay back, and don't come closer." He said, just immediately. When Diana touched him, she could feel fear in his golden eyes.

Slowly loosing all hope that she would be saved by him, Diana wanted to step away from him and return back to the hands of her captors when he felt her little movement.

"Stay back, and trust me young lady." He whispered to her.

"I'm not after you. I just want the young lady." One of her captors said.

"What are you doing? You'll get yourself killed." Diana replied, but then she felt his hands on hers, holding it so tight that it made the fear in her vanish. Apart from her sister, Diana never felt safe around anyone else. But, this feeling of hers was so new. She felt so safe, so secured, and warm. Her heartbeat had slowed down to it's normal pace, and because of that, Diana let out a smile.

"I'll offer you ten times what her buyers is offering." He said.

Diana's eyes widened in shock, same with her captors, and she ended up gasping before replying instead.

"What?" She said.

"10 times huh?" One of the greedy bastard spoke up.

"As much as you want." He replied.

"10 million dollars." He said, after carefully counting his fingers, and displaying the figure ten with them.

"Deal." Diana heard next, so sharp, so quick from his mouth without hesitation. Immediately, her weak self fell to the floor. She was relieved, but again, Diana didn't really know what next would be her fate in his hands. Because finally, she was being sold afterall.

DARK SHADOW PACK.

"Boys, get the lazy ass up. I don't care if she's wounded or not, she needs to be sold now before she dies and becomes useless. I lost one, and I can't lose another." Nakura said, watching Ava sleep in irritation while tucking her hands into her black jeans pockets as usual.

Ava was immediately woken up, even when her wounds were not fully healed. She didn't fight back as usual, and it even pissed Nakura more to see her so obedient.

"Hurry up boys." Nakura yelled, and then exited the room to go wait in the car.

Being dragged along, Ava politely followed. A painful tear fell off her eyes when she thought about her sister. Diana is just 18, how would she survive all alone in the cruel world, when she is without a mate to protect her. Diana has always grown up by her side, but Ava prayed silently to the moon goddess for her sister to be in the right hands. Whatever fate awaits her, she would gladly accept it so long Diana is alright.

Once the car halted, Nakura was the first to step out. "Take her in, and leave her behind the curtains, I'll be there in a minute." She instructed, grabbing her phone from the car to phone more of her loyal buyers. When she was done, she adjusted her tight jeans jacket and then stepped in stylishly through the back door.

Ava was made to kneel down on the pubit where her bidders would have a clearer view of her, especially the wealthy and older men.

"What about the frail one?" An older man shouted in between the crowd, causing the murmurings to pause for a second and then become louder the next second.

"Gentlemen, gentlemen,. please listen to me." Nakura yelled back, trying to get their attention and maintain the peace and order.

"She is also weak as well, and it might even surprise you she's even weaker than the very first one."

"Observe."

Nakura turned to stare at her boys standing behind Ava when she was done talking.

"Do it." She instructed, nodding her head and they immediately began assaulting her Hy throwing slaps and punching one after the other. Ava remained still, allowing them to do whatever they wished, and the more they assaulted her, the louder the screams and chant of her bidders were.

"Stubborn too. The best type of sex slave gentlemen. With that said, let the bidding begin." Nakura yelled into the microphone and the excited growls of the bidders filled the hall again as they began bidding.

In between the crowd stood Alpha Nathan, alpha of the southpaw pack. He had come to the auction when he heard they were auctioning sex slaves, but he wasn't there to bid for one. He was only there to watch the beta's, Alphas and wolves of high calibres try to outbid each other for a sex slave. To him, it was nothing more than display of wealth.

"10 million dollars." He heard someone say.

"15 million." He heard another.

"25 million." He heard yet another, and the clicked his tongue.

"30 million dollars." Another said, and the hall immediately went silent as no one wanted to bid higher.

Staring at the old man in his late 70's who had just offered to pay 30 million dollars for the lady, he assessed and made his way to the VIP section.

"Alpha Nathan." The bouncers respectfully called, when he made his way to the booth.

"Nice seeing you here. I really thought you don't have interest in things like this." Nathan heard another Alpha say, and then he instantly knew the old man wanted to get on his nerves.

" I'm always the mysterious Alpha. It's surprising you're yet to know that. Now, if you may excuse me, I need to have a clearer look at the young lady before making a decision." Nathan replied.

"40 million dollars." A loud voice yelled from within the crowd, making everyone turn with a gasp escaping their lips.

Nathan didn't need anyone to tell him it was the idiot who was just recently trying to rest his patience. He scoffed, then kept his hands behind himself with a smirk.

He carefully watched as the girl shivered. Anger or fright? He wondered. As if she had heard him, she raised her had and once he saw her eyes, he looked away. He had noticed her green eyes swirled with anger, hatred, repulsion and thirst for revenge. 

"40 million going, anyone else…. Going…" Nakura asked, looking around while raising her hands slowly to get ready to end the bidding.

He brought back his eyes towards her, to watch for a second time before he would conclude what next to do. Truly, she was attractive, and was slowly drawing his interest.

"40 million going twice… and…."

"A 100 million dollars." Nathan yelled at the last second, suprising himself by how loud he had been, and the fear he had suddenly felt at the thought of loosing her to the old man behind.

Every other bidder snapped their heads towards his direction including Nakura. She really wondered who would pay such amount for an ordinary slave. When Alpha Nathan turned to stare at them, he felt uncomfortable with their gaze on him.

"100 million going… anyone else?" Nakura said, and when it was obvious she was only wasting get precious time, she announced,

"Sold to booth 5." With a devilish grin on hey face.

Everyone including Ava thought that would be the end, but no, Nakura had other plans preserved for Ava.

"Alpha, before you claim your property, you have to do something." 

Nathan who had been bodly staring at Ava, shifted his gaze back to Nakura.

"What is it?" He asked.

"To claim your property, you have give her a bite on her neck in order to ensure she is yours forever. She's is a sneaky one if you must know." 

Nathan widened his eyes in shock, while Ava turned sharply to stare at Nakura.

"If I place a mark on her, then she'll be mateless forever." Nathan interrupted.

"Yes, and no other Alpha, be it weak or strong will ever come to claim what is yours." 

Alpha Nathan shifted his gaze back to Ava, and seeing her pleading eyes, he shook his head in disagreement.

"I decide what I want to do with her since she's mine."

Nakura scoffed in disgust, "fine. Then, she is sold to booth 3 for 40 million dollars."

Nathan gazed coldly at her. 

"I'm sorry Alpha, but you have to follow the rules in here."

Ava again, cocked her head sideways to stare at Nakura in utmost shock. What was she trying to do? Destroy her life forever?

"I'll make it 150." Alpha Nathan said, just when the old Alpha was gradually stepping out.

"The rules are important Alpha." Nakura replied immediately.

For a second he closed his eyes. "Fine, I'll do it." And said immediately he opened them.

When their eyes met again, Ava crawled backwards, till there was nowhere else for her to run to.

"Please, please don't do it." She said, in a faint voice, loud enough for him to hear even though she was thankful it wasn't the old Alpha doing this to her instead.

It was really clear that if her places a bite mark on her, then she would be mateless forever since she has been claimed, unless he dies.

When she was brought back on her knees by Nakura's men, she shut her eyes in fear, and seconds later felt his hands on her chin.

"Be calm, don't move." She heard his inner voice say, even when he didn't speak vocally.

And then, when she opened her eyes, he took a bite ok her neck and left his mark to claim her as his slave I'm front of everyone.

The shock she had just received was too much, and watching the evil smile on Nakura's face, Ava passed out immediately, falling into Alpha Nathan's arms.
