"It's time for the auction, bring the weak one first. After she's auctioned off, then we'll find a buyer for the stubborn one." A young woman in yellow heels, along with heavy makeup and long lashes said to the two strong men holding a frail looking girl, and a stubborn one as well.
The stubborn girl with blonde almost white hair struggled to break free from the grip of the men holding her down on her knees before they would take her sister. She bared her fangs, and made them sink into the arms of one of the men. But, unfortunately she was flung away by him before crashing her back on the tough long iron pole nearby.
"Let my sister be Nakura, she'll be of no use to anyone." The stubborn one yelled.
Nakura gave a malicious look in return, taking steps towards her.
"Every buyer demands a weak slave these days, and your sister will do just fine." Nakura replied, before giving her a resounding slap, turning her face as white as the snow with blood oozing from the corners of her lips and nose.
"You're wrong Nakura. You have no idea what my sister is capable of doing to any of you. She isn't the weakling you claim she is."
Nakura stood upright, and then started sarcastic laughter that made Ava grip the sand on the floor into her palm.
"Stop fighting back Ava, you'll get yourself killed." The frail looking girl muttered in a croaky voice, struggling from the grip of the strong men who were holding her in order to go meet her sister.
"Tie up the weak one. You heard her sister, boys, she might not be who we think she is." Nakura said, starting another sarcastic laughter, while tucking both hands into her tight jeans trousers pocket and started towards the back door.
"Diana." Ava called out to her sister's name in a mindlink as one of the men grabbed her by the hair roughly.
"Stand up on your feet." He said, while yanking her hair roughly.
"Yes?" Diana replied weakly, staring at her sister.
"I'll take my wolf form, make a run immediately I do." Ava said.
"No! You might get yourself killed Ava. Nakura is ruthless, and she'll kill you with just her bare hands."
"Listen to me Diana, I am your elder sister and I'm meant to protect you like mother said. If you're auctioned off to an old geezer, then I might never get to see you again, or I might die as well before I find you."
"There's no difference if I leave without you Ava." Diana said.
"I'll be behind you Diana, trust me."
Diana sniffed, turning to her with watery eyes. "Promise me Ava."
"Diana, now!!" Ava said, just immediately she shut her eyes to prevent herself from staring at her sister's big cray blue eyes, the only feature she had gotten from their mom.
When Ava opened her eyes, it turned green and her soft eyes were immediately hardened with anger. She concentrated all her strength on her on her elbow before connecting it to his stomach with a single force, sending the man holding her to the ground. Before the second man could fight back, she twisted his arms, nearly pulling it out of his shoulders, then threw him towards the tough iron pole he had thrown her earlier.
Harking to her sister's command,. Diana raised her head and it immediately turned blue. She squeezed her hands so hard since she is unable to take her wolf form yet, and then forcefully released herself from the grip of the men holding her.
Diana rushed towards her sister, and then assisted her up on her feet.
"We're running out of time, we need to leave now." Ava said, wincing in pain, while gripping her stomach in pain as well.
Due to how weak Ava was, she whispered hoarsely to her sister, holding her chin.
"Listen to me Diana, you should go alone. Run and don't look back." She said.
Diana shook her head in disagreement, holding her sister's shoulders tight and firm.
"I'm not leaving without you Ava." She said,. immediately.
"If you leave by yourself, there's a high chance of you making it alive. Look at me Diana." Ava screamed, trying to let her sister snap out of it before it would be too late.
"You promise to come back for me right?"
Diana nodded, "Yes, I'll come back for you no matter what Ava." She retorted, sinking her nails into her sister's shoulders for fear of letting her go and her tears dampened the corner of her eyes.
"Good. Go find mother's sword Diana, and you'll be safe. Once you see it, you'll recognize it and it'll come to you."
Just immediately Diana ran, she turned back for a few seconds, hoping her sister would be trailing behind her, but no. She saw a silver blade being used to stab her sister by Nakura.
Diana could have turned back to go save her sister the next second, but Ava shook her head in disagreement, letting her tears fall freely.
"Run!" That was the last word Diana heard from her sister before taking the scary path she knew nothing about.
Nakura dusted her hands after dropping the silver knife on the floor. She shook her head as she watched Ava struggle for air on the floor.
"You dare to run away from me. You'll make some real good money Ava." She said, and then cocked her head backwards to stare at her boys all lined up in fear.
"Make sure she doesn't die, and when you're done take her back to the mansion. The auction will begin another day." Nakura ordered.
"Should we go find the weak one?" One of them asked.
Nakura's gaze shifted to the path where Diana had fled off to, and then she scoffed.
"Leave her. She is as good as dead boys. The path leads to her doom, and one way or the other, she'll end up being killed by the silver crest pack."
Diana didn't stop running, at every path she took, she turned to look back for fear of being followed. The look on her sister's face when she was being stabbed kept reoccurring to her as she ran. Even breathing fast and hard, she didn't stop running because of her sister's words not to stop.Just suddenly, she tripped, and immediately fell onto a hard stone ripping a part of her toe open. A painful wince escaped her lips as she shut her eyes to endure the pain. More tears fell out of her eyes the moment she heard some strange footsteps getting closer to her."Oh please! Please not now." Diana cried out in a mumble to herself, tightening her grip on the soil while staring at the direction the footsteps were coming from. She shut her eyes for the next second. "One, two, three ,four, five." And calculated the number of people who were heading towards her.Her heart leaped every second when she felt their closeness to her, and she silently prayed they wouldn't be bad people.Shutting her
"Help me, please help me." Diana whispered weakly and ran to hide behind him, while pulling his shirt."Stay back, and don't come closer." He said, just immediately. When Diana touched him, she could feel fear in his golden eyes.Slowly loosing all hope that she would be saved by him, Diana wanted to step away from him and return back to the hands of her captors when he felt her little movement."Stay back, and trust me young lady." He whispered to her."I'm not after you. I just want the young lady." One of her captors said."What are you doing? You'll get yourself killed." Diana replied, but then she felt his hands on hers, holding it so tight that it made the fear in her vanish. Apart from her sister, Diana never felt safe around anyone else. But, this feeling of hers was so new. She felt so safe, so secured, and warm. Her heartbeat had slowed down to it's normal pace, and because of that, Diana let out a smile."I'll offer you ten times what her buyers is offering." He said.Diana
"You'll be staying here."The only thing Diana could do was to nod her head in acceptance. She needed time alone to herself so she sluggishly walked in.This was certainly a new pack that she didn't recognize, but she had heard a lot about the Crescent pack and how powerful it was. The only advantage was that she would be safe here. When she suddenly thought about her sister, tears brimmed the corners of her eyes. "Don't talk to anybody here except I tell you to." She had no choice. He was now her master so she only had to nod her head. The room was big enough at least more than she had expected. "I'll have some maids serve you soon." She sat on the soft bed, and watched him walk out of the room. Her body was bruised seriously and she was looking ill and tired. For days she had been running and trying to escape the wicked hands of fate, but finally it caught up with her. Diana asked with a worried look, while using her palm to rub clean the tears on her mother's face. While Ava was 14, and strong enough to shift into her wolf form, Diana was a frail looking 9 years old girl who was mostly considered as weak by everyone except her mother."No baby, I'm not."
