After showering early, I quietly slipped out of our room to venture into the other parts of the castle. I have so much energy since my seal had been unlocked. Restlessness consumed me, urging me to find out how Cahya and Aaliyah were doing. From what Elio told me, they were out of the hospital now. Still, I felt guilty knowing the reason Cahya was shot was because of me.

Skipping through the castle, I couldn’t help but beam and greet everyone I passed. It was heartwarming to see some of the pack members smiling back and saying hello. It seemed like I was truly making progress here. All I needed now was for Elio to call a pack meeting and officially introduce me as his mate. Surprisingly, the scorching heat no longer bothered me. In fact, I found myself relishing in the sensation of the never-ending sun on my skin.
