There is a ringing sound in my ears. My eyes focused on the barrel pointed towards me. A blinding pain radiates from my chest so unbearable it’s hard to breathe. Patting my shirt, feeling it sticky with blood as I gaze at my palms. I search my body for the source of where to blood came from, not able to find an entry wound for the bullet. I can smell the metallic taste of blood. It’s familiar but I can’t think why? Crimson liquid pools at my feet, a thick red colour covering the beige, dusty street.
