Chapter 93: Under The Full Moon.

Adams' POV

Her voice, her scent, everything about her brought calm to my raging soul.

“How did you know he would listen?” I whispered into her ears, sniffing the beautiful honey scent of her hair.

“I didn't know he would,” she whispered back, her sweet voice touching the deepest part of my soul. “I just did it, praying and hoping he would stop.”

For the first time, I was this close to her and Ted did not behave funny. He was calmer than the sea after a storm, hardly moving within.

I detached myself from her embrace and looked at the mess we had created. The chairs were broken and scattered all over the room, the table was no better than them.

Food was all over the wall, and some of the men were injured.

I searched for Ronan and found him bent above Sheila, his right leg pierced with a piece of broken glass.

He winced in pain as he removed the broken glass from his skin, limping towards the injured guards afterward.

The room which looked beautiful earlier, now resembles a litter house,
