Chapter 96: The Test

Lilith's POV

Looking at the scene before me, my heart skipped a million times in a second.

Only if one had a death wish would he confront Ted in this furious state he was, considering the terribly vicious things he had done in the past days.

But this man… he seemed so confident in himself, like he could defeat Ted. The fact that his face was concealed added a layer of mystery to his personality.

A terrible wind suddenly began to blow, and fog started to seep in. The eyes of the men and their leader remained as though what was happening was a normal thing.

Soon, nothing was in sight as the fog had covered it all. The trees, the men, even Ted. All I saw was myself, in my own closed space.

There was no stopping him now.

“You have the ability to control him, remember?” Lexi reminded me with a question.

“But how? I don't know what to do.” I was confused and tired of the whole thing, if only we could just disappear and find ourselves home.
