Chapter 102 The Ordeal

Lilith sat on the bed with tears running down her cheeks like a river, as she was trying to contain her fear. "What's going on, goddess?" She muttered silently.

Adams rushed to her, sitting by her side. He pulled her to his chest, completely bothered about her welfare as she had seen a lot of violence in one night.

Lilith cleaned her eyes and she looked at him with her red - swollen eyes that made Adams' heart ache in pain.

“We will have to be more careful and watchful, because the man intends to kill me, but because of your being there, he killed the guards as a warning,” she said to Adams. Though she tried to be strong and composed.

Adams nodded as he held her hand, gently taking her out of the room, and mind linking Ronan, who joined them immediately in his home office.
