PERRIN POV

This feeling, this intense, unbearable craving…

It hit me out of nowhere, knocking the breath from my lungs. What the hell was happening to me? Seeing her earlier today in that dress, fuck..

That dress had done something to me. I hadn’t been able to stop looking, wanting, imagining what was underneath.

And now? Now she was sitting next to me, and I wanted to ruin her.

Her scent was messing with my head, making my body burn in ways I couldn’t explain. I needed her closer, needed to feel her against me, under me, everywhere.

She had kissed me first, and I swear I lost all control; I wanted more.

My fingers slid to the back of her neck, gripping gently as I pulled her in. The moment our lips touched, a groan rumbled from deep inside me. Fuck, she tasted good. Better than I imagined, sweet, soft, sinful. My tongue pushed past her lips, teasing, claiming, devouring.

She whimpered, melting against me, and I nearly lost my mind.

"You taste like cherries," I murmured a

QUINN POVDamn... I winced in my half-asleep state, shifting uncomfortably in bed as I tried to understand the pounding pain in my head. Sunlight slipped through the windows, hitting my face directly. At the same time, Nausea rose in my throat, making it impossible to function properly. “Help…” I mumbled, still half-asleep, the headache throbbing deep in my skull. It was overwhelming, unlike anything I had felt before. “I see you are awake,” a familiar voice said suddenly. Slowly, I opened my eyes, only to be blinded by the bright rays streaming through the curtains. I quickly shut them again, using my hand to block the light while my vision adjusted. “What’s going on?” I asked groggily, sitting up and running my fingers through my hair. My breath caught when I saw Alpha Perrin sitting across from me, his expression serious. My stomach dropped. What had I done to deserve such a cold stare this early in the morning? “I have been waiting for you to wake up,” he said icil

His eyes stayed on me for a moment before he said, “Didn’t anyone tell you that you are not supposed to be outside during this period?”I crossed my arms over my chest, raising a brow. “Why?” I asked, inhaling before adding, “I needed some fresh air, so I decided to take a walk. I mean, I can’t just lie around like a couch potato until I heal your legs, Alpha Perrin.”He raised a brow at my words.“This isn’t about lying around. I don’t care what you do with yourself, but you should know that in this season, it’s not appropriate for the queen of the pack to wander outside.” He paused, letting out another sigh before continuing, “Starting tomorrow, you stay indoors. Chapter one Quinn's pov“No, no, no!!!” I screamed, joking up from the bed with my hair as rough as it could be. Thick sweat trailed all over my body, and my hands were shaking as though there was no tomorrow. My chase paced as my drumming heart, and it got really hard for me to swallow.“What kind of nightmare is this?” I asked, and just then, I heard a banging sound.“BOOM!” The house shook, making my eyes widen. I immediately threw my legs off the bed, holding on to my nightgown as I rushed out of there with worry in mind.“You’ve got to be kidding me,” I said when I got to the living room. My parents, who were leaders of the pack, were already dressed up in their armor, ready for battle.“Mom, Dad, what's going on?” I said with worry imprinted on my face. However, my mother rushed towards me and grabbed my shoulders.“You better save my daughter. You better!” She urged, pushing me towards the way I came.“Take Laila and carry her to the bunker. Do you hear me?” She asked, and I

Chapter 2Quinn's pov.“You don't need to be scared, he's just a crippled Alpha.” My wolf said. She wasn't wrong. We had heard a lot about the alpha over the past few years, but then one rumor about the reason why he never came out to invade or negotiate with packs was that he was crippled. “Maybe he wants me to be his servant,” I replied to my wolf, trying my best to be still as the vehicle carried us away.My hands were shaking. It was as though my body feared the future. I was trying my best to ensure that I wasn't bothered, but the situation needed fear.“We're here!” One of the guards announced to my hearing, and instead of feeling better about ending the excruciating journey, I wished the journey never ended. The guards helped me out of the car but secured me tightly so I wouldn't run away, and I tried my best not to annoy any of them because there was no one to save me there. My mind only reeled around what my life was going to become.Suddenly, the huge door was pushed open,

Little did they know that I was about to marry a man I just met.Alpha Perrin cleared his throat, and I raised my eyes to meet his glaring gaze. I knew what he meant, but was it all worth it? Was I really about to remain tied to a stranger for the rest of my life?“Ma'am, you have to answer. Do you take Alpha Perrin to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Even the priest sounded like he was urging me.I swallowed, my eyes being raised to the man who was standing there. He had a serious look on his face as though he was about to skin me alive."Yes!" I screamed hesitantly, or maybe it was the pressure I felt. However, no one seemed to care about it.The elder in that same faith turned to Perrin and asked him the same question. However, the man who had just met me for the very first time didn't hesitate to agree."Yes I do," Perrin answered, his voice firm. Then the elder nodded and continued."In the nam

Quinn pov “What the hell is going on here?” he said coldly, walking closer with no expression on his face. The entire party froze. No one moved. Everyone stood still as Alpha Perrin closed the distance between us, his eyes raking over my mother. She immediately lowered her hand, recoiling in fear. “I will ask again. What is going on?” he said, his voice patient but firm. Something about him sent a weird, creepy chill through me. He was serious—so serious that it made my skin prickle with fear.“Just family matters, Alpha Perrin…” my father suddenly said. “Actually, I don’t know what came over my daughter, Quinn. She had too much to drink and suddenly started attacking her sister. My wife and I were just trying to diffuse the situation.” “Diffuse the situation by hitting my wife?” Perrin asked, his tone growing even more serious—more intimidating, more dangerous. Did he just call me his wife too? “Not exactly hitting…” my mother said quickly. “It was more like scolding. I ju

QUINN POV "Are you sure you should be drinking that much, ma’am?" the barman at the far corner of the party asked. I ignored him, taking another drink and drowning into intoxication. My alcohol tolerance was rock bottom—horrible, to be more precise. I knew drinking this much wouldn’t sit right with my body, but at that very moment, I could barely care. I needed to forget. Forget the torment. Forget the horrible memories flooding my mind. I needed a desperate escape from reality. "Can I have another one?" I asked, holding up my empty cup and waiting patiently for him to pour me something else. "Ma’am..." He leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. "I am sure you have noticed—this is a private party for elites across various packs. The fact that you are here means you are important. And trust me, you want to keep that noble image of yours. Alcohol probably isn’t the best idea right now." "What are you saying?" I slurred, my words thick and clumsy. My vision

Alpha Perrin POV I scanned the room, my eyes sharp as I looked for Quinn. The party buzzed around me, conversations mixing with laughter, the clink of glasses echoing against the walls. I’d searched the entire hall, asking damn near everyone if they’d seen her, and now I was getting frustrated. Where the hell was she?I spotted her then, standing off to the side near a quiet corner. She wasn’t mingling, wasn’t even pretending to. Just... standing there, staring down at the drink in her hand like it was the only thing keeping her grounded. My jaw clenched. She wasn’t just drinking; she was hiding. I made my way over to her, the people around me fading into the background. As I got closer, she didn’t even look up. I stopped right in front of her, blocking her view of whatever it was that had her so focused. “What are you doing here?” I demanded, my voice low but sharp. She finally lifted her gaze, and for a moment, I didn’t know what to make of her expression.
