Chapter 100

Lucy's pov;

At school, the day was as sunny as ever. The sky held no clouds, just a blue blanket that stretched to infinity. Giving a sign as the summer is approaching in full swing. When I worked in the club, everyday was the same with serving drinks and making sure the tables were always ready to be taken out. It was all bright lights and annoying loud music, but I enjoyed it anyway. I miss those days when life was easier for me even though I had debts to pay.

"Lucy! Hey! Are you listening to me?" Casey asked , her voice snapping me out of my memories. "You look kinda spaced out." She said,

I shook my head and returned to reality. "Sorry about that," I apologised with a smile, knowing I have an ugly habit of zoning out.

"Your boss looked way too cool even though he had that cast on his leg. How can someone look handsome with a cast?" I laughed at the thought. "Is there any vacancy where you're working?"
