Chapter 80. Just Let Him Go

It had been more than fifteen minutes that Susan was still hugging Clarabelle with tears in her eyes and the occasional cry. Susan didn't want to cry. But she couldn't hold back the sadness and anger in her heart. Disappointed, very disappointed, that was how she felt.

Susan left Lorenz at the restaurant and met Clarabelle at the shop. Clarabelle was of course surprised that Susan had appeared so suddenly with a messy face. Clarabelle spoke to Susan in a quiet room.

“Lorenz is not as good as the wrapper. He's not a playboy like Jordan, but he's meaner in my opinion." Susan pulled away and wiped her eyes, cheeks, and all over her face with a tissue.

Clarabelle looked at her broken friend.

"If he doesn't like me, why should he embarrass me like that, Lala? It's better if he pretended not to know and still behaved normally. Wicked, he's so mean." Susan shook her head vigorously.

"So, have you already known what you're going to do?" Clarabelle felt sad too about what happened to Susan.
