Chapter nine

Audrey moved, her body felt numb at first then slowly she starts to feel, feeling her body ache like she has been working nonstop, her left side aching badly, her eyes slowly pry opened but closed back from how bright the room was, then she slowly opened them, adjusting to the brightness, she pulled off the oxygen mask on her face.

She sat up wincing, looking around at the well equipped room, a hospital?! she panicked

' not a hospital!' she flung off the duvet and got down from the bed, her head spun as she pulled out the IV but she didn't care, she had to run, that's all she could think about.

Her bag and her ' lucky charm' were laying safely beside her, she grabbed them and made for the door, pulling it open, the hallway was long and wide, not what she expected, she looked around to make sure no one was after her as raced towards where she thought would lead her to the exit.
