Chapter Thirty-Three

Audrey clicked on the keyboard, manoeuvring through firewalls like she was playing a bugged game.

"Wow, she is so fast"The pimply blonde named Harris exclaimed as he watched Audrey clicking and tapping.

The whole team watched on, an hour passed, then two then more but everything proved abortive.

"It would be a miracle if she unlocked it easily. I have been working on it every day for years now"Matt scoffed.

Few nodded but others like Harris who looked up to Audrey waited patiently. The room was getting empty as the impatient ones left the room.

Audrey smiled mischievously when she glanced around and realized that she was alone with Malen and Harris.

" It's past dinner time, we can continue tomorrow " Malen suggested as he glanced at his watch.

"You can go without me, I have to crack this or I won't do anything else" Audrey insisted, her eyes glued to the screen as typed another series of codes.

Audrey glanced at the clock which indicated it was past midnight "Now, let's see"
