A DAY OUT

A month had passed, and Evelyn's pregnancy bump was now visibly growing. The morning sun streamed through the kitchen windows, filling the room with a warm glow.

The scent of freshly cooked porridge wafted through the air, mingling with the sounds of clinking dishes and cheerful chatter.

Evelyn sat at the kitchen table, her father, standing beside her with a stern yet loving expression.
