Evelyn sat on the edge of the bed, her arms crossed and a pout on her face. The house was alive with the sounds of laughter, chatter, and the occasional clinking of dishes.

Everyone was bustling around, preparing for Kylie’s wedding, and the excitement was infectious. She could hear her sister’s laughter mixed with the enthusiastic voices of her family and friends, creating a symphony of joy that filled the house.
